Does itch.io host cloud servers?

So currently, I am making a multiplayer game called "BOXER SHORTS" and I want to ask: Does itch.io host free cloud servers?

So I am a game developer with no marketing budget. I don't even have a credit card or a PayPal account. So that's bad news, because I can't pay for servers to host multiplayer games!

So I was wondering: Does itch.io host servers? If they do, that would be amazing because I need a free server real bad to host my new multiplayer Boxing Game called "BOXER SHORTS".

We do not allow people to upload code to run serverside, and it’s unlikely we’ll add this a feature in the future due to potential for abuse. If you’re building a multiplayer game that needs custom infrastructure then you’ll have to provide it yourself.

Hope that helps!

Not that I know of, sorry.

I have seen ninjamuffin host a server for an update system for his game "Friday Night Funkin' " so maybe.

If they had free servers, they would likely be overloaded to the point your game would be unplayable (especially considering that it seems to be real-time).

For what reason do you not have a credit card? Are you too young to own one? In that case, you can ask your guardian to pay.

I'm technically old enough to bypass the age requirement for making an account on Itch.io but not old enough to get my own credit card
