One of the faction quests for mayor election is to get an a elf boy. Unless there's a scripted event somewhere, I assume that means I need to capture a male elf. Which makes it impossible if you have male percentage set to 0%.

I've found 2 ways:  

1)  ALWAYS get a MALE  MC  (Master)     [she'll do it w Master *PROVIDED* he's MALE] 

2) Get an Apprentice class Master    (strange,  but gives you an "out" option." 

So really only an issue if your Master MC is FEMALE.    [then do #2]

One of the features I miss from the original is the comparatively easier ability to capture slaves. Need an elf? Go find some elf bandits by elftown.

Now it seems the only slaves you can capture are at the end of lengthy dungeons (And don't always appear.) And you have no idea what race it will be in advance if it does.

(Holding out hope someone will say "you can still do that dumbass, you just..")
