Themba's patterns

So, you may know that Themba can come on 2 different patterns. The purpose of this topic is so that we try to find what determines which one you get. The only clue i have so far is for different backgrounds. Across my playthroughts i got:

Gray - Humanities; Tech; Math; Speedrunner

Brown - Leader; Arts

Lounge manager doesn't seems to be relevant from my runs

Did you make the same choices across all playthroughs?

more or less, some choices are background exclusive. other than that there is the RD & Exploration stats, but that's harder to keep track off

I got cthonic (gray) on my leader playthrough, so I don't think it's tied to that. Or if it is, it's not the sole factor.

honestly, i don't think it is, but i was only able to get different outcomes when i changed backgrounds. my main playthroughs are with math and it always got me gray. it could be something down the line that i would be more likely to trigger on a given background.

We got a lead, boys!

I could have a look at the code later and see what the choices are

I mean, i asked Minoh directly and he said he wanted us to figure out on our own. So i'm not sure he would be okay with this method.

Developer

I'm ok with people looking into the game's code, as long as they don't spoil it for others.

In this particular case I'd add that, if someone does look into the code, they should also be a smug piece of shit and dab on the people who don't know while not giving a single hint. They should leave God and humanity behind to embody true, primordial chaos. Smugness is their fate.

Darn, well I gotta do what the dev says,

Oh ho? so THATs the choices is it? if only all of you know you had to do THAT to get your preferred skin

:( sorry guys, I'm bound to follow orders. (looking in the code is fairly easy, just be aware there are spoilers for future stuff in it)

PS. That's a pretty cool way of doing it :)

Yeah, it's very specific unless you're Tricky.
