Tilemancer.exe has stopped working.

I am running Windows 10, and immediately, upon launching the program I get a Windows popup that Tilemancer.exe has stopped working with no explanation. Unfortunately, this means that I cannot use this tool which otherwise looks great.

Hey there,

You're not the first user that has reported crashing in Windows 10, and that worries me. If you by chance have Visual Studio, there should be an option to debug the crash once it happens. That'll display some assembly and it would be very useful for me.

In any case, I'm looking into this problem as soon as i can.

Hey again. Sorry, I only have Visual Studio Express installed which afaik cannot grab dump files.

However, I downloaded this application: http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/app_crash_view.html and it presented me with this:

This might be useful. Thanks for providing me with the data.

I think that this bit means that it's from a null pointer.

Sig[6].Name=Exception Code
Sig[6].Value=c0000005

Same thing happens here on Windows 7.

Here's the immediate disassembly:

00422087 . E8 74360200 CALL <JMP.&SDL2_ttf.TTF_OpenFont>

0042208C . C74424 04 08914800 MOV DWORD PTR SS:[ESP+4],Tilemanc.004891>

00422094 . C70424 01000000 MOV DWORD PTR SS:[ESP],1

0042209B . A3 34944800 MOV DWORD PTR DS:[489434],EAX

004220A0 . FF15 7454DC6E CALL DWORD PTR DS:[glew32.__glewGenBuffe>

[7454DC6E] (glewGenBuffers function pointer) is null, which of course causes the access violation when trying to execute it.

It's been crashing occasionally when I click to delete a node. It also seems to crash if I maximize the window while it is trying to run nodes on large textures (256x256, using save file editing)

I have windows 7.

Can confirm that this app completely locks up on Windows 10. Using Technomancer 2.0- Starting it up locks up the explorer window.

Any updates on this? Can't run the program at all.

I've been looking into it to no avail. Could i know your OpenGL versions? Might be related to it.

Currently using OpenGL 4.4 on a GTX 570.

OpenGL version is 4.5.13440. I just tried running both 0.1.0 and 0.2.0, and neither crash on startup now, so something must have changed on my system since I last commented.

After updating the graphics driver, Tilemancer works like a dream.

Tilemancer crashes at the start, I'm using a laptop with quite an old GPU. Nvidia GeForce Go 7600 128mb.

Just found your app and looks like it could save me loads of time, Is this GPU to old and not compatible?

Crashes on startup on both Windows 7 computers I've tried.

Tilemancer-0.2.1 crashes on startup. Windows 7.
