Runs fine on a custom TKG wine with lutris, you just need to create your own wineprefix environment for the game, wintricks dotnet35 and vcrun2019 (probably with the --force flag) onto that prefix and it should get your game up and running. This solution has been already told before.

the command : WINEPREFIX='insert/your/path/here' winetricks (--force if it doesnt work) dotnet35 vcrun2019

I am happy to report that it runs perfectly on Proton (tested on 6.21-GE-2). Just add it as a non-steam game to your library (the exe you want is BBPSX-Win64-Shipping.exe), select the compatibility option, and you're good to go :) It is entirely possible that it runs perfect without the GloriousEggroll proton build, feel free to report back with which one you used.

Of course it would be fantastic to have it native on linux, but this is a great workaround for now

Agreed. I use the latest wine GE instead of proton (when playing non-steam games) though without issue.

https://github.com/GloriousEggroll/wine-ge-custom

It is preferable to use lutris in that case if you want to backup your save files (unless you know where proton prefixes are made for non steam games wise) and then create a lutris shortcut to the desktop and add it to steam. And as Jummy pointed out, use the wine-ge-custom on the game's config on lutris.

thanks

You're welcome
