cannot connect to patreon

im getting this error message every time i try to connect to patreon

failed api request POST oauth2/token 403: <html><head><title>patreon.com</title><script src="/cdn-cgi/apps/head/7F2Ggij0e_TCnVgy3dJ0eOuIIUs.js"></script><style>#cmsg{animation: A 1.5s;}@keyframes A{0%{opacity:0;}99%{opacity:0;}100%{opacity:1;}}</style></head><body style="margin:0">

Please enable JS and disable any ad blocker

It looks like JavaScript might be disabled in your browser. Try enabling it and then trying again.

If you don’t want to use JavaScript (and there are some very good reasons why you might not want to), then it’s a bit tough.

Getting the same thing and I've tried to connect my Patreon on both Firefox (which has adblocking and what not) and Edge (which is a fresh install of, so there's no disabled JS or anything). Same error. Seems to be an API issue.

Got the same error in Firefox. JS is enabled, have disabled my adblocker (uBlock) ... but still get the same error. So I agree with djDarkX, think it might be some API-related error

This issue still persists and there seems to be no word from anyone on itch.io's side about an update. Patreon has already confirmed it's not on their end, so we are waiting to hear from itch.io now.

Indeed, I am having this same problem and there is even one on github about it but no word on itch.io's end. I tried 2 different browsers and I got the same error.
