Is it possible to transfer bard's tale 1 characters. I went through the utilities menu and inserted with what was the character menu. Then the prompt was 'press return' to read the character rooster. Then it crashed to desktop
I’ve never tested this, because all I read about it is that it’s gimmicky and not worth it. But I’d like it to work! Have you tried running the game on AppleWin and going through the same process?
Once they’re imported, quit AppleWin and play DLRL.

That worked as you suggested. It transfers game equilivent class,name and equilivent race. The transfered characters begin at level one and the stats are transfered, strength,, int, luck> power, con, dex. Im going to play around with ultima 3 characters and see how they turn out. No equipement is transfered.
