We have a gamejam (alakajam.com) happening the weekend after next and I was wondering if it's ok to add a place holder jam page to advertise it on https://itch.io/jams ? Or is there an alternative option for external jams?

You could do it but it's unlikely we're promote a jam that is a link to another website. (It might not get listed in calendar). You could post on the community here but there's not much traffic for stuff like that.

OK, thanks for the reply. I guess the page does say "jams on itch.io".
