OBSOLETE - currently not required

Improvements to mod loder in order to allow for easier more compatible modding.

Game Version: 0.6.10

Install: unpack /conquest from the .rar to game folder eg. C:\games\strive-conquest-win64\ windows-only

Yeah. I just can't get these mods to work...

It's going into the main game folder all of them. (The only exception is the Faster combat animations)

For the extended mod loader it's just simple copy/paste like you see it in the pic. For the mods folder it's looks like this.  If you done it correctly you should see this. Thats means all the mods are working.

I finally got my issues resolved after asking on discord. But it helps seeing this.

Problem with preserving changes to variables.

If there is mod that change variables directly. (SfCRevamp - revamp_jobs) and you have another mod that is run after and it extend variables.gd changes from previous mod are reverted (in my case second mod extended globals.gd and variables.gd).  After moving variables change code to second mod everything work nice. 

how would i add it to the game i find this very comlicated so i basically need basic steps and such

Just copy/paste to the main game folder. The eml wont show up in the game. (just in the console) There are pictures above showing how the game folder should look like.

cant get the mod to work, followed the instructions shown and the mods still wont appear in my modlist. this is what my files look like:

That's because mods in Conquest don't show on that mod list. If the mods are installed correctly you will see it on the debug screen like vadi92 described above.

Are you by chance updating the mod? or is it gone forever?

Installing this seems to break the main menu. I am playing on 0.6.5d so I'm not sure why it doesn't seem to be working.

Hey you say this is now obsolete, because its now apart of the base game but you nore the base game explain how to use it, the tweak mods show up but none of arics stuff shows up, Im not sure what im doing wrong.

SfCArics and SfCRevamp have not been converted to the new mod format used in 6.6. I should have them done today or tomorrow.

ok that makes sense, didn't realize the whole system changed I couldn't find any info on it. Thanks for the response.

if you had 2.0.4 redownload this AND all of your mods, there was a critical bug that would delete last line of some mod files each time game is opened

Excuse me. The newest update for EML seemed to break the hiring job players get in the villages.

Potential Bug: Can't drag'n'drop characters in/out Battle Group on dungeon screen.

As soon as I start dragging any character portrait cursor changes to "No Entry" sign and ignores all actions.

This behavior is only happpening if Save Game Fix present  in active mod list

can't buy dungeons when using this.

I did a compare of the modded and original using notepad++ I copied and pasted I believe line 996? from the original to the modded. After saving and loading it back up I was able to purchase again with no issues.

Same issue, found your reply that claimed with notepad++ and line 996 my problem could be solved. Queue me trying to find the solution to my problem for 3 hours since the console text doesnt give me any hint, i don't know what file to edit, and hilariously enough you need to edit two different places, neither of which is 996 for me, i have deciphered your riddle Calrocka, and with it i have gained the ability to actually buy dungeon maps again, but holy hell would it have been faster if i knew where to start other than maybe 996 :(
Anyway, to fix this issue make a fresh download, open your fresh StriveConquest\src\core folder and find "input_handler.gd", this is the file causing issues. Open it in notepad++, open your modded versions "input_handler.gd" as well.
Ctrl+F and find 'location_purchase_event' and copy everything from it to scene.open(data) (which is at line 996 on the fresh install to Calrocka's credit)
Then find that same line in the modded version, it'll be around 970-990, and paste the fresh versions line over the modded versions line.
(Now if you were like me you'd start your game up and everything would break and crash and you'd try and figure out which lines are needed to keep or need to be replaced, do not be like me, be like Calrocka who just compared text lines to see what was different as i later did.)
Last Step, at lines 56-64~ you will find a bunch of lines starting with "var exploration_node" and ending with "var active_faction = {}"
However in the modded version it is missing "var selected_area" at line 61 between var active_location and var active_area
Copy var selected_area and paste it on line 61 so that your line up looks like this:

var scene_characters = []

var scene_loot

var active_area

var selected_area

var active_location

var selected_location

var active_faction = {}

Save the notepad++
now you can buy dungeons again :D
