Vi mode for code editor?

When my eyes see a code editor inside a terminal my brain immediately assumes it's vim. Just wondering if there's any plans to add basic vi simulation to the code editor? It's totally fine if not. It's just more of a "nice to have" rather than "needs this".
On another note, I just picked up the pro version of TIC-80 today and I'm loving it. Great work!

Love TIC-80, just got the pro version, and I'd LOVE for there to be vim style controls in the text editor!

I suppose the purpose of TIC-80 is to remain simple and not bloated. If you own the pro version, you can easily edit your code with vim as external editor.

I'm not asking for a full IDE built in, just some very basic vim keybindings. Obviously it'd be disabled by default, so if you're not looking for it, you won't find it.
