Hi, after playing here are my few feedbacks:

The overall playability is really good, the platformer action is satisfying and, as a player, understanding and learning  how everything works through the game (e.g. how to use letters or powers) without a classic straight forward tone of voice was good fun.

Here will follow some comments about some stuff I felt as small issues:

UI

  • The text is stiled in a really aestehtic and plaesant way but after a bit it could be quite tiring to follow along and to flow whit what's written. Maybe it could be made more readable.
  •  I personally really liked the ideal of not using convencional ui and using a peculiar set of symbols, but sometimes the comprehensibility  of what you have to do or what was about to happen is quite hard. 

Gameplay

  • Especially n the early stages it was a bit difficult to orient yourself.
  • The time that pass inbetween the interaction and the subsequential event is a bit too long  (NB: this may be an issue that concern just my machine)

For the UI, I know it's hard to find a compromise between lights signs and secret alphabet, I'll do a better job for this part !

Concerning the feeling of being lost, I added better maps in strategical points, hopping it could be more helpfull.

I didn't understood the last point, do you say that the animations of interactions are too slow, or there is some interactions which operate in a way too far from the event ?

I was referring to the gap between interaction and consequence. I meant that when I interact, for example with an atched stone, the text that follows my interaction appear after a wide amount of time. 

(Below an example of when this happens...I was uploading a video recording but it was meaningless since it did not show the exact moment of me interacting)

Some typos:

  • [The priestess who gives you the basket] "The priestess who whatches watches for her does so from the cliffs"
  • [When you get the ribbon] "As though I were back in my old montains mountains"
  • [Bolg] "She didn't asked ask for permission. And her devotees were violents violent. (...) An A horrible noise from outside "
  • [A ghost] "The paintress is now free. She has finised finished her work here"
  • [Ending] "Maybe it's time to for me to climb the high cliffs to go outside"
  • [Felung's ghost] "Fire and stream". Was "fire and steam" intended?

And some things that sound wrong to me, but I'm not a native English speaker:

  • [Manarwn's ghost] "Come to me again if when you travel alone"
  • [Ending] "Maybe it's enough to for you, maybe not"
  • [Ending] "And maybe I'm alone here for a too long time" => "And maybe I've been alone here for too long"
  • [The priestess who gives you the bell] "The only testimony to the Nameless Godess of the LLWYN's path" => I can't parse this sentence

And a final one... I think this one is supposed to read "La mort fst est passage".

(For the most part I didn't attempt to read background text. Most just seemed to be gibberish? I hope I didn't miss much.)

And congradulation for this last translation, you're the first who made this return ! Most of the etched text on the walls are gibberish, you're right.

Hey, I've been messing around with the game and had a crash occur,

Hi ! Yes, I see where is the issue ! Thanks for this, I think that the crash doesn't appear everytime in this spot, but the script is a little bit brittle. I make an update very soon ! Did you succeed to load the save correctly ? I see at your inventory that you got the first seal of Llwyn, did you see anything wrong in this part of the game ?

I've been save stating thru instead of using in game saving while I'm messing around, so not sure if it messed with that. I have only noticed one other issue so far, I found a floor clip. Here's a clip of it. If you hug left going thru this transition. I don't think you can softlock since you need slide to get in here, unless there's another way.

This is a tricky one ! Honnestly, I tried on a cartridge and I couldn't do it. I'll see if I can modifying the room directly. In another way, this bug is pleasant for something like speed run. It look like an old school tricks on Snes games.
