My Game is not indexed

Before we get started, I did read the documentation and followed every step to a T, I made my game public, added a game file, did not click the Unlist options and all and yet I am undergoing issues I wish I didn't have to deal with. I contacted support but I haven't received any answer or response as well

I developed a game called Landscape.Concept:Showcase by SeizeTheMoment (itch.io) and even after publishing it and following the steps to get it indexed, it doesn't get indexed and I can't find it on searches or anywhere outside of my profile. It's super frustrating. It has been like this since 1st June when I first published the game up to now (3rd June 2024). I'm scared something bad happened to my game, I worked hard to develop it and it is the first game I coded.

I want to know three things:

1. How long should I wait for in order to get my game indexed?

2. Why isn't my game indexed? What did I do wrong?

3. How can I prevent this from happening again?

I want to keep this brief since there are many posts and my situation isn't different from theirs but please get my game indexed, it's one of my first games aside from the RPG Maker demo game I made. So please help me!

The rules of this category say not to ask this sort of question.
You did nothing wrong. It's been less than two days. On a weekend.

So, is it in the review queue?

Also, I'll be careful to try not asking these types of questions, I just saw many questions talking about their game not being indexed and thought it was fine.

If you saw so many topics that talk about the topic, didn't you see their responses?

If your game is not indexed when you publish it, it is because it has entered the manual review pile.

There is nothing you can do to avoid it, not all games go through manual review. The algorithm that decides whether a game should go through manual review or not is secret to prevent bad actors from taking advantage.

The people who review DO NOT work on weekends.

The time is variable, usually a few hours or days (but business days), but can be 2 or even 3 weeks.

If your game is still not indexed after a couple of weeks, only then can it be considered that something happened.

Before that, you will be asked to wait.

The options are:

- for some reason the game was lost in the review and the moderator can help you.

-The game was manually quarantined or ineligible to be indexed. In which case, the only alternative is to contact support.

I'm really sorry, I didn't pay attention to their game's release date and when their posts were made. I was just worried about my game. I think I posted too early but I don't know how Itch.io works, I am new to the platform. Thank you for telling me about the process
