Texture Filtering Issue

So I've run into this problem where if I have Texture Filtering off, the parts have this really unpleasant jagged tearing, but if I turn texture filtering on, then all of the parts have a 1px white outline that ruins the way the parts flow together. No matter what size I export the parts, the jagged tearing and 1px outline happens. Either way it makes the model unpleasant to look at, and I'm not sure how to solve this issue?

the crusty white border has to do with the way you exported the images out of your drawing software

How should I export them then?

IDK i just know thats the issue lol

From what I've found people's best idea is that this happens with clip studio and some other select program because they handle antialiased/semitransparent pixels differently, making them read as white instead of black in certain programs such as PNGTuber Plus and often discord.

The weirdest thing here is the fix - open each individual art file you use to piece together the model in Microsoft Paint (it's weird, I know), hit Ctrl s to save, and close paint. You've fixed it! It's how I've been fixing all of the models I rig and it's been working a treat, even if it is boring and repetitive.

After some digging, that's the information I've found as well. I also found this solution and tried it, but it didn't solve the issue for me. I did it in Paint 3D, but I still had the issue. Doing it in regular paint loses the transparency.

If anyone finds a solution to this other than the MS Paint one that works consistently I would love to hear about it, because it doesn't work for me either. I've tried saving the files with Paint, Krita, CSP, even Photopea and haven't had any luck. :(

I’m having this issue as well, but instead of white, it’s black for me… any help would be greatly appreciated : ( (the jagged line is beneath the hair tuft on his head)

UPDATE: When blurring the edges, I got it to work better. still a little silly, but that was my best solution!
