Discord will still be our preferred method of communication, but we also know some countries ban access.

It's difficult to work with this until there's a proper video tutorial for complete beginners. There's not enough information online, even in English... But 3D seems quite promising, so I hope this engine gets the proper training it needs...

Great point, for the moment I'd recommend joining our Discord server for interactive communication. Tutorials are being posted there as well.

I wonder, what language is the engine? I was thinking it looks like Javascript through my phone while checking it out. I read it says Light.vn's c++ is used to export or something - but I was told I could write in JS or that it supports it.

The engine is c++. We also have a browser export, that might be what you were being told.

I am toying around with Light.VN, and while I really like a lot of the features, I miss Renpy’s ease of making text buttons (just text, no background image). As of now, the engine seems to be very image-heavy, which is not always appealing for rapid prototyping.

Where do I download the actual visual novel engine, where I make my own game? I downloaded Light.vn Story on the Android app store, but I think I just got an example game, not the engine itself.
