On top of the amazing work you've already done with Cart Life and others continuing your work as an artist and game developer will always be appreciated by the community. The indie game scene has exploded and by updating Cart Life you will be bringing  it to a whole new audience.
Whether you finish development on this endeavor or not; don't give up.

Developer

Thank you. I believe in the same thing you’re describing, but my faith might be delusional. I genuinely can no longer tell if it’s plausible or not. Regardless of its plausibility, though, it is still my responsibility to finish this update so I’m continuing to dedicate my time and attention to it. Cheers!

Man, you've impacted more people than you know. Your game is the reason that I decided to get into making games.

I know how you feel, a small bit, I've felt similar, except I couldn't handle it and got a job at a studio and put my own ambitions aside. Having that faith in what you're doing is terrifying when you've got a family to take care of. I think this game will mean something to alot of people and will generate enough buzz to make this worth it's while.

I found your game in 2013 as I was getting out of the Marines and working in a Vape shop. All day I worked a cash register and couldn't wait to get home and kind of do the same thing in cart life. It was the first game, I played, that was this heartfelt, honest and ugly about reality. That made me feel the same thing I felt when I listened to music where people pour their heart out, making something beautiful with horrible feelings. You've already made something beautiful the first time, I hope you are able to finish and this game brings everything I feel you deserve. Thank you for this game and how it's changed my life. I make games because of your game.

I wish I could do more, I gave what I could, but if you could use some extra fingers pretty experienced in menu/UI and C++ let me know :).

Hey,

I don't know who you are. Really.  All I know is somehow sometime in the past you touched me in some way. (no gutter thoughts) just some sort of connection to someone far away who maybe had an unwritten piece of artwork who needed help. I never lost faith in YOU.  I hope I have helped. Take care bud. Even if you don't finish it. I wanted to help. I really want to see this project completed. Not so much for my own amusement now I release my pressure upon you if there was any you felt at all.  It got deeper than that. I can't explain it. If things go well, I will donate again. Maybe just maybe you can finish this and have a wonderful sale.

I have donated. I contacted AD-HOC. They never responded.  I advise you all who read this to do the same. No bull Shinola. I am not related, affiliated, or being paid by this developer. I just... for some reason. Care. He may have saved my life. I have analyzed this for years. There is no other independent developer I care about more.  Please people. Don't let this go unfinished.
