I created my game and updated it a while ago, named Guess the Cricketer.

I updated it and added some new levels and linked to my admob account.

My friends downloaded the game but there are many people who can download the game and play it but if it is flagged due to suspicious behavior from the page owner, how can anyone download it?

I also contact support but still no reply from them, Is this the contact support from Itch, not impressed by their contact support.

Why it is flagged as suspicious, what have I done wrong?

You are literally spamming your project into jams and wondering what you have done wrong? Please have some self-awareness. The content you are posting is low quality and does not meet our quality guidelines, and your behavior on promoting your page is against our rules. You are permanently banned from being eligible for indexing.

If you want to create ChatGPT generated shovelware, find another place to post it.

Now, what should I do?

Patiently wait! You are not the only one in the queue. Support will answer as soon as they can.

Thanks Mate, but How long will this take

Unfortunately, as support is always drowning in requests, it can take days, sometimes weeks. The important thing is not to lose your ticket number! Don't give up hope; we are all with you!

This is the mail I got from Itch

The Error the people are experiencing

what about right now? did your game still got flagged? because my game got flagged too bro

Your games are NOT quarantined!

They are merely not on the index. Which means they are flagged for manual review. I do not know why the mod phrases this as being flagged by a bot. He shoulda use the phrase "in the waiting queue for getting indexed".

Flagged has no inherent meaning. This game here was flagged as suspicous.

Also, there is no guarantee for getting on that index. Neither is there a guaranteed time frame. And Itch's stance on indexing is, to not rely on it.

I'm trying to come up with lighter phrases to describe certain internal processes at itch.io in words people can figure out more easily. People ask all the time: what does "indexed" mean? How about "quarantined"?

As explained in lots and lots of topics, this is an automated check. The exact criteria are secret, so people don't try to evade it. And please read the rules of this category where it says not to ask how long it takes, especially not after just one day.
