This game needs to be added to steam for many reasons

Voices of the void needs to be added to steam mostly because it's a great sandbox/survival game but what if someone can't open it through the app or the website. And I don't think it should cost a price unless it's through Patreon.

I thought this was added to the FAQ already >.>

The answer is "Nose can't put it on Steam until all copyrighted content is removed".

For the Patreon thing, it's actually common for indie devs with Patreon to put nightly/testing builds on Patfeon.

Oh

Well, hopefully it does come to steam, cause this game deserves more eyes on it.

(+9)

please remember to read it helps a lot

(+6)

There are too many people who write first and then think...

(-5)

I didn't know that okay

Learn to live inside of the assumption that is true.

(+2)

because of all the copy right stuff and it costs $100 dollars to put it on steam which would require them to have it cost money on top of it.

(+1)

$100!!??

(1 edit) (+4)

yes. That's because valve requires you to pay for a license to put it on steam here is a link to a google search that shows all the things you need for it to go onto steam as well.

Cost to put up a game on steam https://www.google.com/search?q=cost+to+put+a+game+up+on+steam&rlz=1C1CHBF_enUS975US976&oq=cost+to+put+a+game+up+on+steam&gs_lcrp=EgZjaHJvbWUyBggAEEUYOTIHCAEQIRigATIHCAIQIRigATIHCAMQIRigATIHCAQQIRigATIHCAUQIRigATIHCAYQIRirAjIHCAcQIRifBTIHCAgQIRifBTIHCAkQIRifBdIBCDYxNTlqMGo3qAIAsAIA&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8

$100 is pocket change. Nose would need something in the ballpark of $25,000 to $50,000+ for negotiation to license Source Engine so most of the items he used from Valve games can be used.

(+2)

well i mean epic provides unreal engine publishing free for the most part unless it is using only unreal engine assets

(+1)

The game uses unreal engine 5, not source engine.

(+1)(-2)

The game also uses Valve assets for the time being.

Ok, rich person.

(+6)

If you don't know how to unpack an archive then you are too young to play the game anyway.

"hurr durr, the dev must be stupid for not doing [X] and [Y] immediately-"

ITS IN FUCKING PRE-ALPHA

Never said they're stupid just I write shit without thinking to re-edit most of the time

that comment was from 81 days ago at the time of this post. Commenting on a reply from so long ago is called "Necroposting." This causes the thread to be pushed to the very top of the list, which most commonly contains outdated info.

please. do not do this. for the love of god.

I get that you're upset because people are upset over some shit you did. Get over it. Others have been over it for over 81 days.

bro I responded saying something that I've haven't responded to because I was bored not because i was sad

(-4)

And that shit does not make sense and I am confused on how to edit it into the right grammar so make the best sense of it

(+3)

that is not the point. the point is that the mere action of posting here is a bad thing because;

A: the thread was irrelevant to begin with, pertaining to a topic already answered in the FAQ, and,
B: the thread had been offline for over 81 days before you replied to a comment.

Stop posting here. You're dragging it out longer than Ninja drags out his memes.
