Is there an option to change the character creation model to the previous one?

Hi, it's been a while since I started a game in the newest version, as I preferred to keep my old game while I waited for the third part to come out. Now that it's out, I've tried to start, but I think I'm a bit lost with the character creation model. Is there a way to get it back to how it was in previous versions? Maybe it's just me, but I think it was a lot easier to understand and use before.

You don't really need to use most of visual options and just replace it with custom portrait

I mostly miss being able to type things directly, like eye or hair color (although I think that was in the first game).

The lists of options when choosing character traits instead of going from one to another.

Personally, I would leave everything that refers to hair as it was before, is the part that is hardest for me to understand taking into account the different types of hair and color that confuse me a bit, especially if I want to give a specific color, size and hair style to a character, since sometimes I don't even get that option (for example black hair in Dragonking).

And so in general a little more descriptive text, maybe I'm imagining it but I feel like it seems like less parts of the character are described.

PS: Just in case I just want to clarify that I love the game and I really appreciate the effort and work that you put into it!!!

This is not any kind of criticism of it, just a couple of suggestions that I think could improve some parts of it.

By the way, is there any way to make a slave character become a subordinate or from subordinate to slave? I've been looking for a way to do it for ages and I haven't been able to find any, I've tried modifying the game files but the training mode gets blocked without being able to do anything with them.

I know it has nothing to do with the original post but I'm curious about it.

As talked in this other thread, you can use a Writ Of Exemption to make a slave becomes a subordinate, you can found them in the Servants Guild Shop, and for subordinate to slave, there is apparently a shrine you for that.

I dont know how it was in the previous version but for sure I don’t agree with the reply of Strive4Power.

Strive4Pwer, I personally think that custom portrait is not ideal as it make the thing less consistent. Maybe it ease your work as then you think that you don’t have to bother yourself to fix and better the character creator.

However, if you think you can still bother a little, there is mostly two things that is missing in the MC creator :

  • chin
  • nose

They are present in the character creator of our first compagnon however, so it’s not a technical issue but just an omission.
