Feedback on My Game Page: How Can I Improve the Experience?

Hello everyone!

I’ve recently updated the page for my game, DualVerse86, and I’d love to get your thoughts. As an indie dev, I want to make sure that visiting my page feels engaging and gives a clear sense of what the game is about.

Here’s what I’m looking for feedback on:

  • Clarity: Does the page make it easy to understand what the game is about?
  • Visual Appeal: Do the visuals (images, colors, layout, fonts) work well together?
  • Content: Are there any sections you feel are missing or could be improved (e.g., more screenshots, better descriptions)?
  • Ease of Navigation: Is it easy to find the download/browser play buttons or other key information?

Feel free to share any suggestions or advice, whether big or small! I want to improve not just the game but also the overall experience for players.

You can check out the page : https://j1gstudio.itch.io/dualverse86

Thank you so much for your time and help!

Hi,

I love the formatting of the text on the page.

The overall description on the page is maybe a little brief. The game is described pretty well though, so if you want to add something - maybe a short paragraph about your experience making the game, or something like that (just an idea to build a little more discussion and build a bit of community).

Also, I checked out the tag and genre information on your page. I worry that listing the game as "Racing" for one of the genres, might confuse people rather than help. But that's just my personal opinion, really.

Thank you so much for taking the time to check out my game page and share your thoughts!
I really appreciate the suggestion about adding more personal insights
And for the “Racing” genre, that’s a valuable point. I’ll revisit the tags and genres to make sure they align better with what players can expect from the game.

Thanks again for your kind words and helpful feedback

The page looks pretty solid.

I appreciate that you took your time to format the text & the paragraphs. Not only on the game page, but the devlogs are pretty well-formatted too!

Though, I find the link color a little bit too hard to read against the background color. It could use some more contrast.

And I think it would be better to replace the last screenshot with another gameplay shot instead of the main menu.

Also, if you want to get feedback, I think you’d want to post it on Get Feedback instead of here.

Thank you so much for the feedback! I’ll definitely adjust the link color to improve readability and consider swapping out that last screenshot for more gameplay. I really appreciate your thoughts!
