I'm new here and just wanted to say hi since I'm excited to meet everyone!

Hello and welcome! What kind of games do you want to make? Arcade? Horror? Sim? What have you got in mind?

I am planning a 2D RPG game called EveryLand. The goal is to create a highly open-ended game where players can do anything, much like Ultima Online. :)

Nice to meet you!

Welcome, where have you been? :)

Hi! Good to be here!

Hi, and good luck on your project, RPG is hard, MMORPG is even harder. Make sure you don't burn out yourself. I am just feeling the burn out again - just as I am supposed to do marketing for my upcoming game. :( I wish I could afford to just release everything for free.

Marketing can be really exhausting, especially after pouring so much energy into development. I totally get that. But I believe your game deserves to be seen and appreciated! Wishing you the best, and I hope you can find a way to make the process a little more enjoyable. 😊

Thanks!

Hey there, welcome to itch.io! Just a word of advice - making an RPG with any meaningful depth is a major undertaking, and will likely blow past all of your initial time estimates. I know this because my ARPG is over two years into development and still has lots of work to go, lol.

Best of luck with what you do, and we look forward to what you will come up with!

Thank you for the warm welcome and for sharing your experience! I definitely understand that making an RPG is a huge challenge, and I'm prepared for it to take longer than expected. Your ARPG sounds like an exciting project—I admire your dedication! Best of luck with your development as well, and I appreciate the encouragement. Looking forward to sharing my progress with the community! 😊
