i was trying to reach the underwater safe 6ut the evil-ass game saw me drowning (i survived) and saved while i was still underwater, it was setting me up for a softlock grrrrr
I just turned autosave off, it takes getting used to manually saving and you can forget to do so, but I trust myself more than a lawless autosave with no concept of a bad time to try and save the game.
Don't hook onto it, simply grab it directly. Hooking onto it just pulls you down with it, but grabbing it directly will just drag it behind you without pulling on you.
Set your autosave to a crazy high number or turn it off and save scum like you're playing an old boomer shooter or max payne. If it gets bad enough press the delete or "." key on your numpad to tp back to the evil and fucked up base.
given that i treat this game like a genuine jo6 simulator i dont really put myself in risk so much as to disa6le autosave so it won't shove me into a horri6le place against my will
