Hello,
I'd like to know if this radio will be compatible with the sim.
Thanks in advance.
Regards.

I don't own the BetaFPV LiteRadio 2 myself so I can't check, however, if you own the radio already there is a free version of FPV Freerider that you can try to see if it works without having to spend any money.
Download the free version: http://fpv-freerider.itch.io/fpv-freerider
edit 2021-03-26:
The internal input system has been completely reworked in the latest update. The betafpv literadio 2 should now work on Windows at least. However, it seems like the betafpv literadio 2 does not support joystick emulation on Android unfortunately.
Thank you so much for your answer. Unfortunately the radio doesn't work. It won't calibrate. But it seems that the radio is defective. If I get a replacement I'll try again. I bought the game anyway. I think it's price is awesome for what it offers. I will use as soon as I get a working radio. Thanks again.
Hi,
Support sent me an email to change some settings in OpenTx (the special version for the Lite Radio 2). Unfortunately that didn't work for me. The radio still behaves erratically in the sims. They are sending me a replacement. I can send you the instructions for the settings if you like. Maybe that works for you.
I have a claim against them thru Pay Pal. BetaFpv is saying I have selected wrong model trying to fly (I sent them video). I have the Bayang version as I have told them before! They don't have good support service. They NEVER understand the problem or pretend not to understand. They make ignorant replies.
@realrony Yes, Betafpv LiteRadio 2 works with FPV Freerider and other Unity based simulators. BUT it needs some tweaks like described in the first answer. I used "opentx companion" app to make these settings because the radio has no LCD. Just change the Weight from 100% to 50%, and the Offset from 0% to 50% for each axis. Now everything is working well. See screenshot #1:
Also I suggest to assign this mode to a switch, so you can turn on and off this feature to use radio both in real drone flight and in a computer simulation. I duplicated each axis line using right click, and made changes:
Hey Guys,
I have the BetaFPV Lite SE and both android versions of Freerider FPV. Just wondering if anyone has had any luck making the controller work on an Android device. My devices both say the controller is connected and charging but im not seeing any movement on the calibration screen.
Cheers

Same here. The literadio 2 SE works fine in freerider classic (win10), but no axis movements (only charging light) in the android demo (shift5me Android 8.0.0 or Xperia Z5c Android 7.1).
I tried different cables and OTG-Adapters with no luck but an usb-stick and my mouse work on both phones.
Does anyone have more success or tips?
I recently heard from another user who had a similar problem with his Tango 2 radio on android. I thought I'd share his workaround here in case someone else has the same issue.
(Note that this worked for him using the Tango 2 - it might not work with the Literadio 2, but it might be worth a try).
"I downloaded an app called Gamepad Tester
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ru.elron.gamepadtester&hl=en_IN&gl...
So I connect the TBS Tango 2, put it on joystick mode. Go in this app and it will detect movement when I move the joystick. Then I open the Freerider app and voila go to calibration and it detects it.
The only issue is ( which really isn't an issue for me ), that I have to mostly do the calibration every time. Sometimes disconnect and reconnect Tango 2-3 times until the GamepadTester App detects it. "
On my new MacMini M1 with Catalina the controller works out of the box without any OpenTX modifications! (first power on the controller, then plug in ) Also Freerider charged is playable in maximum quality settings.
The only problem was to start the app after installation, but extracting with the unarchiver led to success.
Hi there, i have the literadio 2 se version and it didn't work with the app on android, i tried with windows and it worked flawlessly. The controller itself detected as a "BETAFPV Joystick" in "USB Device Info" app in dev/bus/usb/001/002 (1002), but at first you need to allow the permission the app asked for. I know this is already old topic but maybe you can make it work. Thanks
