We’re aware of the issue, and we’re working on a solution. Sorry about the inconvenience. I’ll find out if we have an easy way to give you access to the old installer.

Edit: You can try this link to download an older version of our setup app: https://broth.itch.ovh/install-itch/windows-386/_27/unpacked/default

I am having the same issue. Windows 7. It says "The procedure entry point CoIncrementMTAUsage could not be located in the dynamic link library olo32.dll."

Would appreciate a fix for this.

I’ve just released itch-setup v1.24.0, which no longer uses CoIncrementMTAUsage and should work on Windows 7.

You can download the latest version from https://itch.io/app, as usual.

Please report back whether it does or doesn’t work for you on Windows 7. (If you’ve gotten itch installed in the meantime - it’ll just verify and repair your existing install, you won’t lose any data).

I'm also having this problem, also Windows 7.

Just a heads up, the platform we use to develop the app, Electron, will end support for Windows 7 at some point in the future. We need to keep updating Electron for security updates, so at that time we will also no longer support Windows 7.
