The game is fun, and I really like the mechanics, music, and the way you learn how to use the new power. But I think this game doesn't make sense with the theme. It's a solid game, so you have my respect. Congrats!"

I’m glad you liked it! One way I think the theme fits it’s like the stuff you transform into all have opposite powers, but they mesh together and attract or something like that.

I didn't think of it that way, but now that you mention it, it makes sense.
Either way, the game is really great.

Very well done game! One little nitpick is that there's a few scene decorations that are  the same colour as the spike traps, so I spent quite a while in my playthrough scared of them xD
Developer

Thank you very much for the feedback! I hadn't thought about how that could be confusing, thanks for pointing that out!

Dang this was really well done, especially given how short the game jam period was! The platforms are well-spaced so that you need decently-timed jumps to make them, and the shapeshifting mechanism was well-incorporated. I can definitely see myself playing a longer form version of this; hope you build off of this even after the jam!

This was a really fun game! I thought the layout of the map was very well designed and the little cute characters were amazing. I would have happily played for longer and there's so much potential(if you plan on developing the game further). This was the best game I've played so far so be proud!

Thank you so much!

If there's a genre I play a lot, it's Metroidvania, and this game has a lot of potential. You managed to create a great short experience with every aspect of the genre. I love the music.

Thanks, I’m glad you like it!

Wow amazing game! I loved the health animations where you lose a heart each time you get hit. Also death animations were great too! Music was good and game play was fantastic. The transformations were a nice touch! As well as having abilities for each one! Great work and definitely deserved 5 stars!!!!

Thanks you so much!

This game was really fun to play! The shapeshifting mechanic was done very well and I could see this developing into a larger game. The pixel art and music was very cute too

Developer

Thanks, I’m glad you liked the shapeshifting ability!

I was really impressed! There's a surprising amount in here for a game made over a weekend. You've condensed down the Metroidvania experience really effectively. Giving the player an arrow to help them find the last of the collectibles was a nice touch for impatient players like me too.

Thanks for the positive feedback! I think one way I was able to create a compelling game is such a short period was that I made smaller level, and just made you loop back around and around. Also, thanks for appreciating on the arrow, as I thought people playing games in a game jam might want a slightly quicker experience. Thanks for playing!
