I like the art and floaty feel of the character! After the jam you should definitely add some music

really cute graphics! would love for more storyline maybe and more mechanics! i like the seahorse added challenge, and the turtle seemed to be helpful, but i think more levels would help really emphasize their strengths ^^ cute game all in all, would be nice to have some tutorials explaining what it is about.

Really nice pixel art here! Simple, yet clean and colorfull. Also the controls are pretty good, especially the jumping mechanic, but just as other said: the absence of any sounds make it a little less charming... If Some little introduction to the story was added, some music/sounds and a bit more level it could be come a very cool game! I would absolutely try an updated version of the game if one day you manage to get all those :)

Pretty and fun game! The levels are quite too simple and it gets worse when they are repeating. Some sound effects would've been nice too. Nice work though!

Nice art. Would like it better if there was sound and music. It doesn't feel like there's a point. The levels seem to repeat. Good for a beginner though! Keep at it!

I quite liked how Mari's jumping feels. I don't think you can do that bubble thing I see in the screenshot, but it would be cool to implement something like that in the future and make the platforming more unique!
Yes I wanted to do the bubble thing and actually the whole idea even kind of evolved more together in our team actually just from me suggesting that bubble thing and a couple other ideas like that in the very, very beginning of the conversations.
After that and a couple other suggestions of mine like that, actually the whole idea itself evolved from those much more.
The whole thing became something I thought was very interesting and at that point evolved beyond my initial suggestions as a team even with just the ideas. I think it really became an idea that I feel the whole team equally had important contribution elements on after my initial ideas, and so the idea became much more interesting as well after that.
It looks like somehow you were able to tell, there may indeed be much more to it actually.
Unfortuately there was not enough time to make the bubble thing, and maybe many other things like that, for the jam.
Indeed some of the things I mentioned in the very, very beginning, may, ironically, not be in the actual jam game.
But I'm so glad that you just seeing the graphic on the itch.io page made you think of it so much that you may have somehow knew what the idea may have been just by looking at it - and even thought it was cool if only it were there.

Any updates to this game can be made only after the jam, but if you actually may be interested in it, I could consider to make an update after the jam if you might want to see how that bubble thing might feel even if it were on a very quick update.

pixel art wise, its good. though i notice that theres no audio?
that or my pc's audio system is messing with me again xD
i did play around and see that the levels were abit short..
also i liked that she can suspend for more than a bit, reminds me of peach from mario xD
