Was a very good game and fun to play!
Lots of fun! I kept losing the magnet after a while. Is that supposed to happen?
A solid survivors entry. Like they all do, they hooked their teeth into my weak brain
F. U. N. That's what this is. You are definitely a guy who knows how to make a simple game fun, once the upgrades (and the xp) start flowing, it just gets better and better. Basically play the Goku looking guy for the dog and always be on the lookout for the temporary powerup that sucks all the xp to you.
Anyway, cool soundtrack but rudimentary graphics--drawn well and distinguishable, but static and stiff. I'm sure you would have animated more with more time. Good job
Thanks for your feedback, you're right about the animation, if i had more time i would at least make a basic walking cycle for the player and the enemies.

Definitely a good game for the time period, although it definitely felt quite rigid without animation and enemies seemed pretty jittery especially when moving. Obviously some balance could be tweaked but that's to be expected. Great work overall!

Honestly speaking, this might be the best game I played during this jam! It's super addictive just like vampire survivors. If I HAD to make one small comment is that the winter theme might not be AS visible as with other projects. At least I feel like you mainly focused on the 1-Bit part. Still an amazing game!
Love the game by the way haha. VS-likes never fail to be fun, unless the game design is done badly, and you have nailed it. I can't help but think to myself that this is just a reskin of the original game, but it works out, fits every criteria and it's honestly fun so what can I say?
I'm also impressed by how many people went for games with perks and upgrades, it is the first time I have dev'ed one and I have never seen any others before, yet in this jam every 5th game is perk-based. Maybe a lot of them just had a thought-process of winter -> survival -> upgrades -> perks
Day 4. I've been sitting in the cold for 14 hours (minutes) now. In the distance, a pack of ferocious dogs, chasing innocent creatures and tearing through their flesh as I watch. Am I scared? No. Is it because I shoot exploding gifts at bystanders? Because I materialize razor-sharp snowflakes out of my butt? Because I shoot snowballs the size of of a wrecking ball? No.
These are my dogs.

To answer your questions:
1- Can a novice game designer create a survivors like in just one week? Yes
2- Can a survivors like game work with only black and white colors? Yes
I played to level 50, solid difficulty curve, upgrades, mini bosses. You got it all in here. The only thing I could suggest is to increase upgrade variety. Otherwise, great game!
