Whoops, sorry about that viewport issue! It may help if you click the fullscreen button in the bottom right. Thanks for playing!

I think this is the first tower defense game I've seen out of this jam, and it's great! Minimal art style works well with the overall design. Buildings are intuitive and easy to use. The snowmen might need a little tweaking (they're very cheap and pretty strong). Otherwise, great job!

This is wild! What engine was this made in? I did start getting a bit of a headache as the objects were coming in from the top of the screen. But I like the art, music, movement feels smooth. Great game!

OMG Thank you so much! It took me almost 3 hrs in MS Paint hahaha

That transition into the ending was so sad :( Please expand on this game! The core concept is great, the controls are easy to use, yet it presents a fun and interesting challenge. This one's going in my favorites collection.

"Simple but effective", just like me. Thanks for playing!

This is super cute! Very fun and relaxed. The artwork is simple, but is done well and pairs greatly with the minimalist design.

My beagle approves!

Wow I really like this concept. Flip-flopping between two "perspectives" to reveal things otherwise hidden, and making a platforming game out of it. Very cool! Could definitely use some background music, and not too sure about the "winter" theme?

Wow! You really nailed that sense of dread. The visuals, the music, and the "ghoul" mechanics all worked together perfectly. I could definitely see this getting expanded to a different/larger environments. Great game!

Check out "All Hail Arithmetic" if you wanna flex your math skills haha!

To answer your questions:

1- Can a novice game designer create a survivors like in just one week? Yes

2- Can a survivors like game work with only black and white colors? Yes
I played to level 50, solid difficulty curve, upgrades, mini bosses. You got it all in here. The only thing I could suggest is to increase upgrade variety. Otherwise, great game!
P.S. Snowflake girl OP haha

Cool concept! I really like the artwork for the snowflake. The birds and projectiles would look really cool if they had similar design work. I think you tweak the physics a bit, slap on a scoreboard with your fastest times, add a restart button when you hit the bottom, and you got one heck of game here!

Making an FPS for a 1-week game jam is pretty ambitious. And you did it with... with a variety of weapons?? Woah very nice!

The platforming is definitely a bit clunky. I keep finding myself getting stuck on the edges of platforms to perform a wall jump when I don't want to. But the clunkiness actually makes the wall jumping a bit more challenging, and not necessarily in a bad way. So not a bug, actually a feature? Haha nice game!

Very fun while in combat. It seems like all the enemies rush you on spawn, which means you have to kill them quickly, but the rest of the level is a bit empty. Would be cool to see a little more enemy variety and different weapon types!

Actual voice acting for a 1-week game jam?? Woah, very cool! Love the stealth aspect. Would love an indicator for when Santa is coming, so you know when it's time to hide. Fun game!

Cute little platformer. Movement is very clean. Some of the quick camera movements, like when you dash, are a little bit jarring.

Thank you! I drew everything myself in MS Paint haha

I've head everything from "Add a harder difficulty, pls. It's too easy" to "Oh my god I only got 10 and half of them were wrong" haha. Thanks for playing!

As an avid snowboarder, this is so cool! Would love to get some sound effects when carving, maybe even some changes in acceleration depending on your direction relative to the fall line? Future work. Great job!

Like the art style, and the music is making me feel so many emotions. Great theming! Unfortunately I did find it a bit difficult to play, soley because of the camera jitter.

Wow, I think this game has inspired me to finally go and play Papers Please. Great game! Adding this one to my favorites collection.

Can I borrow your artist for the next jam? I didn't think it was possible to do so much with just two colors. And the sound design... I got chills when I heard that door creak open. Love it!

The viewport on itch was already set correctly. I went into Godot and updated the stretch mode. Unfortunately, I think the problem is I made the game 1920x1080, so the edges kinda get eclipsed when viewed in browser on a 1080p display. But fullscreen works much better now! Thank you so much!

Please play with fullscreen enabled if you're having viewport issues!

I had two little men on my shoulder. One was telling me "It's too hard to read, find something else!" The other said "No it's fun, keep it!" Appreciate the feedback :)

Made it all the way through! Art and music are great. Platforming feels smooth, although the collision with the ice and being able to jump through it does feel a bit clunky. Otherwise, more levels would be great!

Thanks for the feedback! I think I didn't catch the viewport issue because I'm working on a larger 1440p monitor. I see what you mean when I shrink down to my laptop screen. Oops!

I like the idea of a snowball fight where you actually have to make the snowballs! (Although my wrist hurts a little from doing it). I think it would be nice if the early enemy spawn rate was just a little bit slower, so you could have time to stockpile a couple snowballs. Love the sound effects though!

Always been a big fan of block pushing puzzle games like this. Making puzzle games for a 1-week jam is super hard, but these puzzles are great! Good difficulty progression and explanation of the mechanics. Really like it!

Love this game! The concept us super fun. Music fits perfectly. I would love to see this expanded with more snowball types, especially for endless mode. Great job!

I love this one! Super simple concept, but you accomplish a lot with just two abilities. Great little mini-game!

This is great for your first game! I think you should definitely continue with this concept and brainstorm a few more mechanics to add to keep things interesting.
Also, the easter egg in the top right was... fantastic.

Really fun minimal game! Particle effects look great. Procedural landscapes would be really cool way to add some additional replayability for future development.
Highscore: 960

Cool game! I really like to "curved screen retro effect". I think added some scan lines to make it more CRT like would be really cool!
The puzzles could certainly be a bit more challenging, but making a puzzle game during a 1-week jam is REALLY hard, so nice job!

Dodge and weave! Wow this game get challenging fast. The contrast from being 1-bit helped put me into a "flow state" where I could quickly avoid the oncoming obstacles.
Highscore: Level 6!

I like it! The wall jumping feels very good and adds a fun challenge. I enjoyed the music as well.

The camera is a bit jittery when jumping, and I think the timer should rapidly climb to 20 seconds when you enter a fire (otherwise I'm sitting there for 10 seconds waiting for it to fill up all the way). Otherwise, I think this has a lot of potential!

Very fun minigame! I like the challenge that comes from targeting a moving enemy while also dodging and weaving around incoming projectiles. The ability mechanic makes it exciting to be able to come back from a losing game as you're getting swarmed.

Love the soundtrack too!

Highscore: 16 !

Brilliant game! The movement is incredibly fluid and intuitive. Very challenging climb, but the frequent checkpoints make it more fun. Love the minimal design and calming atmosphere brought on by the sound design.

Currently 50 deaths in and still climbing!

Hey everyone, thanks for playing! Let me know your comments and high scores!
