The music and art are delightful; I cannot emphasize enough how impressed I was when the game started up.
And then this abyss swallowed my soul.
I can't get it to do anything past this point orz. Shame, it's gorgeous....I'm still listening to the BGM as I type this.
Awww man I am so sorry. It's terribly optimized but I will try and get a post-jam patch out soon.
By the way the game has radioactive dragons but you have to go all the way to the right to find them.
Absolutely stunning, but agreed with dewolen - game crashed my graphics card - so minus points for that. Are you supposed to kill all enemies to get an ending? I just avoided em and ran to the right. Most fun I've had so far, so cheers to you!
You can talk to death again if you run far enough to the right. He has some dialogue and you win the level. But it still takes about 3 or 4 minutes to win if you just run past.
Everything in this game is so amazing.
Great looking game with an eerie atmosphere. Though, ironically, the simple 1-bit graphics overheated my computer and I had to hard reset it. Gameplay is lacking and it'd be a lot more bearable with an option to get some more lives.
Understood. It definitely needs some optimization and gameplay needs more polish. Still, I'm glad you liked the art style, I really went all out.
The graphics are absolutely gorgeous, but because the gameplay is lacking and not very fun, as a result it's dragging everything else down. If it had some more diverse and fun gameplay it would without a doubt win this jam. Nonetheless this game has insane potential, I suggest you and your team continue working on it and then release it as a full game, it would have a great chance at becoming the next big indie hit.
Thank you for the great feedback.
Really pretty game and nice dialogue.
very pretty, I hella want that shader
Thanks. Might release it onto the asset store if I can get it optimized.
