I'm happy now

Very accurate depiction of me trying to ignore all my worries. Really really great and simple game, in game jams the games that are easiest to pick up and play are always the best ones! It got very chaotic near the end there I almost lost my smile

Thank you!

Made it ! The sad faces can be tough to avoid, but did it eventually !
Nice sounds and music, and the clean graphics are fun :)

Developer

Thank you =)

First try! Neat little game. You kept the scope small and executed on it well!

As a next step I might try to add some juice. Maybe a subtle effect like screenshake or the background turning slightly red when a sad face gets close to you?

Thank you for the feedback and idea.

seems i’m not very adept at avoiding conflict (gave it a dozen runs or so). i blame that on decades of mosh pits (or my apprecition for them :) ).

still, a fun game while i tried different tactics like hiding in corners or behind angries, or trying to blend in with the walls, but never made it past 15 secs.

it played well on web, otherwise, and i will revisit; thanks for sharing :)

Nice! I managed to stay happy on something like my 20th attempt. The game is simple (which is great) and it has enough challenge in it to hold my interest. It makes me wonder, what would this be like if it were made into a bigger game after the jam?

I noticed that is possible to cheat a little. Some parts of the screen are safer than others (corners) and it's possible to teleport from one corner to another by moving the mouse off-screen. I can think of a couple of solutions for these minor issues, which I'll be happy to share... maybe on the Discord server?

Glad you liked it. I am still learning Godot and trying to do small projects. I can join discord, i saw link in the jam’ description.

Just noticed that in Web version, the tooltips on the main menu screen are off the screen. Sorry about that. While i try to figure out what made it so, here what are they:
