This game is Portal: but with a null-gravity gun instead.  Fun game!

Developer

Thanks!

This is such a cool game! I'm always a sucker for games that have you play around with the physics. Very nicely done! =)

Developer

Glad you enjoyed it!

Clever idea, well designed and feels good to play - well done! I got stuck on the third level (kept falling into the bottomless pit) but I think that's a skill issue rather than a design problem 😂 Good job!

Developer

Thanks! Greatly appreciate you checking out our game

Nice 3D gravitational puzzle there! The introduced gems were a great idea to extend and think on when to use your gravity powers. Graphically the game is nice, menu is simple, but works. Music was nice, the beeper wasn’t my favorite but added to the atmoshpere for sure.

Well Done!

Developer

Thanks a lot glad you enjoyed!

It's simple, convenient, and interesting to play! now we just need a portal gun lol

Developer(+1)

Thanks! Yea we've definitely been getting portal a lot lmao

I enjoy the concept of the game! Some feedback of sound when activating gravity and jumping would've been a great addition.

Developer

We added sound to activating gravity and jumping, thank you for the suggestion!

I like that the gravity pause mechanic and how it fits within the story setting of being within space. The little square that indicates whether you can pause gravity is a helpful visual cue. The controls felt nice, whether gravity was paused or not.

The levels were fairly varied, and didn't feel too frustrating at any point. I enjoyed levels 3 and 7 the most as they focused a lot more on the gravity pausing and jumping. Levels 4 and 6 felt a little odd to me:

  • Level 4 (the one where the crystals are introduced) felt a little odd: I initially thought the game had glitched as I couldn't pause gravity at the start, and I didn't think that the crystals could recharge your gravity pause ability as I was treating them as hazards. If it was mentioned in the same style as the red platforms, that might have reduced the confusion. Level 4 was also using a mechanic that wasn't hinted at before where the player's position would reset after falling into the pit but would retain their current status. This added to the initial confusion. It would have been interesting to see this mechanic used in other levels.
  • Level 6 (where you fall through red platforms) just simply hurt my eyes as I had to focus on the glaring red platforms in order to find the gaps to fall through it. The level design is fine and novel, as it is the only level that can be completed without having to pause gravity. It may help if the red colour was less harsh on the eyes.

A time attack would be perfect for this game.

A fast-paced gravity-based platformer.

Developer

Your feedback is VERY greatly appreciated. We added a brief tutorial in level 4 to inform the player to collect the crystals, and lowered the brightness of the material on level 6's floors. Thanks a lot for the very very helpful criticism!

Exciting fast pace gameplay. I'm glad I could turn down the sensitivity of the mouse because it was hard to see while jumping around. In the second level I kept falling and didn't know if I should have been able to do the mission that way. I like the style and levels.

Developer

Thanks for playing the game we greatly appreciate it! Mind elaborating at what you meant about level 2? Did you go out of bounds are you talking about falling into the dark void in the ground and respawning?

Submitted

I think I was hitting the ground and respawning. it felt like I was falling from the ceiling to the floor and the gravity flip wasn't working.

Very nice game! Great level design, loved each level! I had portal feelings :) It's nice how you teach the mechanics level by level. I have this issue, the camera keeps turning right on its own.

Overall, great game!

Developer

That's weird, I've tested this on the webgl and main build and this doesn't happen on our end. We'll definitely look into this, thanks for playing!

It feels good to play, its nice how you introduce the mechanics one by one and then joined them later, going trough the levels was great, the more I got used to the gravity mechanic the better it felt. It actually reminds me of portal in a way. Good job.

Thank you, we're glad you enjoyed the game!

Love it - picking up fuel mid-air and then disabling gravity before hitting death zone made me feel like I was Ethan from Mission Impossible. This game with its core mechanics and gameplay has lotta potential to be a full fledged game on its own. Polish the movement and camera a bit, increase the time limit a bit, add more levels and make some levels longer too, with extra pick-ups.

Developer

Really glad you enjoyed the game, thanks a lot for the detailed feedback it's greatly appreciated! We'll definitely look into improving the game feel even more, that was a very big priority of ours when designing the game

3D goodness! i was pretty proud of passing the 3rd level but ima have to spend more time on the 4th :)

clean game and well executed. nice job!

Developer

Much appreciated!

This is pretty fun! I'm happy you decided to expand it to 7 levels because just one level would leave me wanting more. Each level felt distinct with new challenges being introduced as I progressed. Nice work!

Developer

Really glad you thought the levels felt distinct, because making sure they weren't samey was definitely the biggest struggle we had while making the game!
