i like the idea of racing the AI to get the flags, and i'd love to see the AI get a little quicker at it :)
also, sometimes when i was picking up flags the enemy ship would teleport around which was either a bug or a really cool feature that i wish my ship had :)

Developer

Hi, thanks for playing my game ! The AI is a ghost ship that appears and disappears to trick the player ^^ ! Just kidding, this bug is on my list for the next release. I also plan to had more enemies and give them the ability to fight back the player :)

Cool game!

I'm not a fan of the AI artwork though, specially since doesn't match Kenney's assets in my opinion.

I see a gray area on the screen, probably for using a larger resolution. You can fix this in [[Project>Settings>Monitor>Window>Stretch>Mode: viewport]]. I usually use that setting unless I need the window to work on different aspect ratios

Thanks for playing my game ! Agreed with the AI, I don’t think I’ll use it on another project, it’s true tweaking the results to match the style of other assets is difficult. Thanks for the advice about the resolution, I’ll fix it for the next update :)

nice concept and good fun (i did win 1 of a few). tho, on my last play, the enemy beached themselves where they couldnt move and i couldnt fire upon them. i did dive into the waves and began swimming toward them so i could introduce my saber… alas, i forgot that both of me legs were pegs and both hands a hook and i quickly sunk, instead.

Developer

Thanks again for trying my game ! Like I said, I will correct the bug, and you also gave me new ideas for an extension :) !

Great concept, its cool how you are also sort of competing against this enemy ship for the loot too.

The movement feels a little bit unprecise at times and I found myself accidentally running into rocks, but I immediately figured out what I was supposed to do and managed to get all the loot and sink the enemy a few times.

Nice work!

Thanks ! In fact, I debugged the movement and updated the game with some fixes, it should feel more natural now, the ship, the enemy and the loot are all on the same basis. I’m glad you enjoyed the game :) !
