Aww I really like the idea and presentation behind this game, and I love the flying meatballs (dirt particles)!!! :D Like others have said, the controls feel a little disconnected and I don't know how to influence the rain exactly. And I don't know if it's smarter to try growing big drops or just click on the small ones.

Thank you, glad you liked it! And now I think we all need a Flying Meatball game!

Cool game! took me a little time to figure out how to make the droplets and make them fall with my mouse but had no trouble after that. Game looks great, sweet and simple game loop, very calming

It did start to get a little laggy for me right near the end (I think because of the amount of droplets?) but the time is up by about the time it starts to happen so wasn't anything major.

Nice work on this! And congrats on making your first game jam game!

Yeah, surely is the amount of droplets. I tried some cleanup, but everything exploded, so I let them live forever (or for 20 seconds). Thank you very much!

what a cool concept this is! i had a little trouble understanding how i influenced the wind though :)

Developer

Yeah, I thought of making a wind path following the mouse, but couldn't figure it out. I renabled the center of particles that used while making it to check the movement and maybe is a little better? Many thanks!

that definitely helps to visualize the goal! it may feel easier if the particle hitboxes were a little bigger. the combined raindrop effect is very cool, but i found myself failing to click on all the little ones. it might feel better if the raindrops fell as soon as they were created, or if clicking the mouse made all of the raindrops fall, rather than just the closest ones :)
