I’m so very uncoordinated 🤣 This is a good take on the rhythm game with lots of polish. Nice work.

I would move the warning arrow a little left along with the hitbox for the right side to make it a little easier for pure mouse (or in my case, trackpad) play.

Thank you for playing! Glad you liked. I feel like I could had polished a little more actually (changes in the dragon sprite, for example - this one is a sketch I made a while ago for a game I ended not finishing), but I ended focusing on another project.

Also... A trackpad! I really didn't expected anyone to play purely in mouse scheme with a trackpad XD. I ended introducing the mouse scheme because I wanted to make this game touch friendly and to make it possible to navigate the menus with the mouse. In the end it stuck as a way to play the game, as it feels just nice to play it using the mouse in junction with the keyboard.

Well, I will see what I can do... I think I will have to add a setting so that mobile players (if there is any) can change it back if they want. Though I guess it actually wouldn't interfere... I will experiment a little bit.

Again, thank you for playing, and stay strong, trackpad warrior!

That’s a great point. I didn’t think about mobile. I ended up playing pure trackpad, instead of using the arrow keys, because the arrow keys are awkward when using the trackpad, because I’m right handed. If z/x could be used in addition to the arrows, I would play like that and the hitboxes can stay where they are.

This is super intense! It took a few tries, but I managed to full combo hard mode :D

I really like how the dragon falls asleep, making it a little easier at the end. Makes it feel like the gameplay has a real effect on the game world.

For some feedback, I played with the mouse controls that you called "cheese" in another comment. I really like the mouse controls, although it would be nice if the notes changed just based on mouse height, so the player can focus less on input and more on the notes. Having a sound effect to telegraph the dragon attack would also be nice.

Very cool spin on a rhythm game, good job!

Thank you for playing and thanks for the feedback! I will make good use of it :P

Good work managing a full combo! :D

Just updated the game with your sugestions. Again, thanks for the feedback :)

Nice! I played it again, and the game feels much better with the attack sound effect and more forgiving mouse controls!

Fancy concept! At first it was very difficult to concentrate, so it took two of us to play - one played notes, the other - arrows. After some time of practice, I managed to pass hard level alone, but it was tense! Well done, good entry!

Thank you for playing! I'm very happy you liked it!

It is indeed quite hard to play the way I envisioned it, and probably the way you have played (keyboard alone). Some folks on the DR discord found a way to cheese it using the mouse and the left and right arrow keys. Playing on the smartphone is also easier XD.

I beat it on keyboard some times, but after I started to cheese it I just can't bring myself to uncheese it XD

... Now I kinda want to make an achievement system and add an "keyboard only" category XD
