Really stressful, just like real life! Good stuff.

Unfortunately, I didn't manage to finish it before my real life boss fired me D:

Developer

LOL, thanks for playing :D

Glad you enjoyed! :)

Good game, I like the sound effects. It took me about half an hour to figure out what to actually do, but it was fun.

Developer

Thnx for playing!

It seems from the screenshot that there's more things to do, but I only ever got the cat videos and coupon window, which made it very simple after learning how to beat. It would've been a very nice game if you didn't know what windows would come up every time, especially if there were a huge amount of possible windows to get. This has potential and it's quite fun but not polished enough (or I'm missing something).

Developer

Thanks for your comment! That's right, we got relaxed and made only few windows, but if in panic, you could stack up more and more, especially with error windows. Definitely, it could be improved further with random popups, etc. Thanks for trying out :D

i must say it was daring to try to sell one of the most annoying things as "fun".

everything played well but i can't let myself complete it. you do understand, right?

still, thanks for sharing :)

Developer

Haha thanks for trying! :D

Nice work!

Developer

Thanks!

Love it!! I came back to this after trying it once a couple days ago, I think it took 5-6 attempts total. The art and sfx feel so cohesive, and the combination of puzzle and challenge elements make it feel tense even after you've figured it out!

Developer

Thanks, that means a lot to us! :-)

Its very hard, but its amazing, 10/10 xD

I liked the idea a lot, took me about 15 times to finally get it.

The footsteps of the boss were really nice touch, overall great job!

Developer

Thanks a lot!

Really interesting.👍

Took me about five tries to figure it out, nice concept. I haven't seen that popups that persistent since the dialup days.

It seems like the text captcha might have broken? It was working the last time I played but my text inputs weren't registering just now :)

Developer

I cannot replicate... Would you have exact example? :D

This is incredible. I love the tiny fake-windows OS you built. Very accurate to a particular era of windows pop-ups. Funny and creative; this rules!

Developer

Thanks a ton!

This is great. I love the sense of anxiety that builds as the footsteps approach. Really fun use of sound effects overall.

I was a little confused why the X buttons weren't working, particularly on the step where it seems like you have to claim the coupon to continue - that wasn't very intuitive to me. Other than that it was really well done!

Thanks for feedback! Yeah the idea was popup windows that cannot be closed through X buttons, only through captchas, just like those annoying ads. But we may think how to improve it, thanks :D

edit: updated game, now closing windows through X will have a little delay before they reappear
