There were a couple bugs where the game would freeze: I tried to restart the second level by pressing R and the game froze, another time I ran into the guy with a hammer and it froze again. But the pixel art is good, the chiptune music is not bad, the controls are tight. The size-altering mechanic is well implemented. Cats are the best.

Developer

Thank you for your feedback.
I was already told that the level won't restart by pressing R, but it's the first time I hear about it freezing, none of the people who played the game encountered this issue.
Can you check again to see if it's not from your system?

I misremembered about the game freezing upon attempting a restart by pressing R. It didn't freeze, I got it mixed up in my head because I restarted the game anyway.

Music and style complement each other. We need to make the levels more difficult or bigger.

Developer

Thank you for your feedback, I'll definitely try to improve it in the near future.

Really liked the art and music. But didn’t really like how player jumps. Can’t wait for new levels! Expect them to be really challenging!

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much for your feedback.
I'll try to tweak the jumping in the near future and maybe add new levels.

I have the same problem. Maybe you should check out some videos about mechanics. I think this one explains alright:

Developer

I like the suggestions but I'm using Godot not unity.
I think I'll have to find a way on my own to implement these features.

It’s not about stealing code, but understanding mechanics

Developer

Not talking about the code, what I meant was the physics material ext..

Oh, this one. Honestly, I did not notice the need of using frictionless material in your game. It works fine. But if you check out mine, there is a little freze at the landing. It’s caused by undisabled friction. You don’t have this issue.

Developer(+1)

Maybe cause I'm using a kinematic body and not a rigid body, so I might end up needing frictionless material if I use a rigid body.

Really liked it! Nice graphics and audio. It's a bit too short but it has the potential, I'd love to see a longer version of it.

Developer

Thank you so much.
Maybe one day I'll release a full version of a game like this.

Nice music, art and ambient!!! Too short for me but It is aJAM...so well done!!!

Developer

Thank you, wanted to make it longer but I was short on time, since I didn't use the jam's full time.

This was a really good one! I loved the audio, art style, and animations.  Just wish it was a little longer!

Thank you for your feedback!!

And honestly, I wanted to make it longer but I got short on time since I made it in less than 4 days.

It's all good.  Hope to see a longer version someday!
