  • This is really incredible I did not expected such a complex platformer in this Jam giving the limitation, the art is pretty amazing. My only suggestion would be a more expressive animation for shooting, took me a while to understand that I was shooting and enemies were shooting at me.

Which song(s) did you choose for the theme and how did you incorporate it/them?
Running, I used it in the game but I also got inspiration from it by imagining the scene where this song would fit

Which parts of the game did you create BEFORE the jam STARTED?
None

Which parts of the game did you NOT create?
The audio and VFX

I liked the art =]

One thing that bothered me a little was not being able to step back when I needed to pick up speed to make a long jump.

Developer

Thank you! And yeah this was for the 2 button game jam so I could only two buttons, because of that I decided that you couldn't go back, and yeah again, i'll improve the game with more buttons after the jam ratings are over so that you can normally jump and go backwards, etc

Good job! I like the art of the game aswell as the sound, The controlls are good and innovative and the game fells nice overall. The one problem is that i didnt really understand how the enemies work, i just hid behind the boxes and they would sometimes die but not all the time. Otherwise, great job!

Developer

Normally when hiding behind a box, you could hide from  enemy shots, and like shoot, hide, shoot hide untill they die, didn't know you could shoot trough boxes tho :/ thanks for playing and i'm glad you had fun!

Nice work. I got to test this a bit during the jam and it came together well. Very innovative way to do controls. I do with there was a way to back up just a little, jumping slightly too far was rough a few times. But I guess that's the point really. Great job.

Developer

Yeah, I tried to implement some platforming even when you couldn't jump, but i'm glad that you enjoyed it

Very Creative way to use 2 buttons i also realy like the graphics good choice of music too.

the only thing that i would change is making the player be able to move in both directions depending on where you click on the screen. but other than that GREAT game

8/10

Developer

That wouldn't be allowed though, because you couldn't use mouse position, so although that would indeed be good, it wouldn't be allowed

oh sorry then.

Developer

haha, don't worry man :p i'm already remaking the game with more buttons and stuff so there will be a version where those stuff are in the game :3

Very creative use of the the two buttons for  a shooting platformer.

I would really appreciate it if you check out our game, Stop That Urbanization and tell us how you feel about it. Thanks.
