This is great! Didn't manage to complete it as I got really lost not gonna lie. But it was really fun, love the horror aesthetic >:)

Great aesthetic and sound design. I had a bit of trouble with some of the platforming, but I think that might have been because my laptop was weak and I was getting a low framerate. Great 90s look though :)

I enjoyed it, but I feel like the enemies need a lot of work, they come at you way to fast, their attacks have very little anticipation, for the flying enemies you can bearly see when they move their arms before they throw the attack which comes very fast at you, you also have very little space to move before it hits you most of the time, and in the rooftop area it feels like enemies respawn way too quickly and its very easy for them to pile on you.

Other then that I think the game looks good, the designes are interesting, and the level designed for the most part is well thought out.

Nice game, terrifying experience but i think is made in unreal and that's why the game have a bad performance in my pc.

But the game is a very nice experience, but after kill the monster in the room with the balcony, I had no idea where to go.

Developer(+1)

Yes, the game is made in UE5 and due to the lighting it will probably struggle on some PCs.

When you get to the room with the balcony, you jump up onto the chair, and then jump up onto the balcony rail. When you're on the balcony rail, platform across all the other balconies until you reach a ladder. Hope this helped :)

Good tension and atmosphere. Looks good too. There should have been some feedback on enemies getting hit. I felt that enemy loudness is not relative to how far they are. It gets really loud when multiple enemies spawn and growl at same time.

Thank you for the feedback!

Good game! I love the design of the flying monsters that shoot at you, and the strange hand things.  Nice ambience and graphics too.

One thing I feel could really use some improvement is the level design, in this sense:

It often feels like there's no direction, and I don't know where I should go. I find myself aimlessly wandering around the area trying to get back on the path I'm supposed to follow.  I'm not sure exactly how one would fix this, but perhaps you could do things like use the lighting to catch the players attention and guide their eyes to points of interest. It would also be nice if it were clearer which doors can be interacted with and which can't.

Also, the sounds of the monsters starting to chase you will sometimes be VERY loud, even if they aren't very close by. One time I was startled by this earth-shattering cry, only to turn around and see two wee little monsters coming towards me :)

Overall, nice game! Good work!

Very atmospheric, nice controls (too good to be a "32 bit game"), the monster sounds could be hear from to far away and also not very hard,(but sometimes there were to many on screen on the same time)

The biggest complaint is the jumping, it's really bad and the game relies too much on platforming, also is not really clear where to go either.

Thank you for your feedback, Dan!

Sorry to hear about your dislike for the jumping though. Personally we Devs like how the jumping feels, but its good to know different perspectives.

Enjoyed the ambiance. Very spooky! Got jumpscared by the first appearance of the hand monster. Felt lost numerous times, but found my way. Good game!

Love this <3

Only thing I have to comment on is a slight bug with the directional audio of the monsters. Otherwise I really like the concept.
