I and a few others have discussed having a hard time making a good game fit into 30 minutes. What are the chances we can go for a small extension up to 45 minutes?

I can say with certainty that we won't consider extending the time limit for entries.

I can't speak for the other two judges, but Drifty and I have 5 kids to take care of(one of them being a very needy 10 moth old) and jobs. We're already pale faced looking at how may people have joined with the 30 minute limit as it is, lol.

We want to be able to consider each submission individually with the time and attention each one with deserves. :)

As one of the two other judges on the panel, I myself will judge up to and no longer than the first two hours.

Because I for one enjoy a good story.

I personally like the time limit restriction.  It forces one to keep things concise.

I agree. The current limit is good like it is, more time means more work for everyone.  Plus yea there's a ton of people entered, if only half of them submit entries that's still up to 15 hours of gaming to judge.

I once entered a writing challenge in my area where you had to write a short story, and it allowed 6 pages max. It definitely helped to keep the writing concise, for sure. I like the time limit.
