To be fair I even did not try to not use random, though some memories of university tried to raise up from the bottom :D
Still I think it is rather fun, given a right mood and time. And you made my brain to work, so this is a good one :D

Tried the game!

This for me hits differently since you talk about mafia and… I am Italian D:

Back to the game.

For a Game Jam the game can be more easier and understandable, but it’s fun anyway after you get the hang of it.

I like how you can manage your cards (and the fact you can buy custom ones for giving more agency to the player) and the whole “puzzle-roguelike” thing.

The game feels polished and complete and it’s hard to see in a entry. Well done!

Nicely created game, authentic feeling and the general "money" theme was fantastic.

Feels like one of those retro games that would have been a big hit, it was very fun to play once you get the hang of it (putting aside the difficulty management and the fact that it repeats itself to a degree).

This is a neat concept for a forgery game. However, the first two weeks are very repetitive. Once you manage to get the last four binary numbers it's easy sailing until day 21 imo. it all comes down to there until then is whether or not the shop themselves will have any swap or reverse card you can customize to easily profit $5 for each card. Once the colors started changing everyday then it becomes more strategic, but the randomness does slightly hinder that since if it takes multiple move (usually just two) you have to go into the negative and got to hope that tomorrow color is close and the shop has multiple swap or reverse cards. I think this could be a really great puzzle game, but I don't think the randomness of the shop fits it well. Maybe it might fit better in a level based game where you're given set cards to choose from to get the appropriate forge.

Thanks for playing, you are absolute right that the difficulty curve was all over the place, it was partly because I was too busy to adjust it and partly because it was a jam game and I was trying to not crush the player in level 1. Thanks for all the feedbacks!

This is really fun, but at the same time so hard hahaha. It really took me a while to understand what to do, even after reading the tutorial. I had to keep going back to it :') But this was really different and creative. I really enjoyed it! Great work!

Starts hard but gets more interesting after week 1, unfortuantely by then I just wanted to get mafia'd. Glad to see binary and randomness implemented like this, basically inventing a new kind of solitaire. Well done :)

Honestly a really fun game. Took a bit to figure out but after I got it, it was really enjoyable.
