I like the submission! This was one of the games that i saw in the discord and wanted to play once the submission period ended. One critique i have though is that its hard to know when im supposed to hit the note. It felt like if i waited for the edge of the arrow to line up with the box it was too late, and other than that i didnt know what i had to go off of really. I think it could be better represented where the arrow is supposed to be when hit, like how the arrows have silohettes at the hit locations in DDR or how there is a little grey circle in a game like Taiko no tatsujin
Great submission!

Making a unique rhythm game in a jam is definitely a unique challenge, and you made something pretty nice here. It is really hard to see the timings of the notes because of how slow they move and how little feedback there is.

The timing windows also don’t feel forgiving at all, especially if a note is hit slightly late (or at least what feels slightly late to me). Overall a cool game, just lacking some visual polish and player feedback.

As someone who likes rhythm games, I really enjoyed how you made a bit of a story and atmosphere around the core gameplay. Like others have said, the game can be a little punishing, which maybe contradicts the chill vibe a little.

One suggestion would be to make a larger time frame for a "correct" press and/or have different tiers of "hit", maybe an ok gives you one dollar, a good gives you two and for a perfect you get three. It felt easy to get discouraged, since (I think) pressing too early subtracted two points, but a hit only gave one so it felt very easy to lose everything with a few mistakes :) But overall I think you made something nice and I bet with a few tweaks a lot of difficulty/frustration might be alleviated!

Timings on the "dance moves" are a little bit vague, was had to guess, when to press

Very Nice music and graphics but not sure exactly when to press the key during  dance.

sorry I didn’t explain well enough :( it supposed to be right before the arrow touches the box. And it matches to the beat. But thanks for the rating!
