What do you like about your game?
It has a pretty complete set of sound effect which is rare for my game jam games, and its pretty fun to play which is nice 👍

Hi, just finished trying out your game. The art style is incredible, and the music fits so well, it helps the post-apocalypse type of atmosphere a lot. The rain sprites are also really good and the enemies are very well done. I loved the game feeling, the shooting feels so polished (as the rest of the game). Really well done, would have loved some more features, but for a game jam prototype is more than enough.

The game felt very polished and was pretty fun to play!

I'm not why but the gun stopped working after being attacked while I was reloading at some points. Managed to kill 137 before the gun stopped though (I still had 90 ammo in reserve so pretty sure ammo wasn't the problem!) XD

I see a lot of potential here for a future release! The foundation is solid and the presentation is really well developed already. Would like to see what more can be done with more time after the jam.

I had to cut a lot of the content i started because i poorly managed my time during the jam, so thank you for the kind words it means a lot !! Especially knowing that i had to push through the "make it playable" checklist after focusing on the core gameplay for most of the jam. It might just give me the will to work for the final product i initially thought of 🥲

I also found it pretty difficult having to discard some of my initial ideas for the sake of getting the game out in time, but I see it as an absolute win that so many people managed to get something out at the end of the day for others to play and enjoy. In the end it's all a learning experience for the future!

The polish and sound effects are great, and apart from R for reload the shooting is smooth.

Also idk if there are more levels, I picked up some yellow keycard looking thing and not sure what to do with it

The gameplay is simple, but classic. It'd be nice to have an auto-reload on empty. Having to click for each shot isn't something I mind too too much, but maybe an automatic weapon would be cool as an upgrade.

There's a few quirks with the collision detection. At one point I got stuck inside of a zombie and I just couldn't get out of him and he, well, ate me. Also, it'd be nice to have a play again screen at the end (if there is I couldn't find it.)

Yeah the whole game over screen was made in a bit of a rush at the end of the jam and i'm not really proud of it 😭There are random weapons (12 different weapons !!) that can drop from killing zombies, and most of them are automatic ! Not auto-reloading and loosing bullets when reloading semi-empty mags are by design (i played way too much helldivers.) but i get that its annoying. Anyway thanks for the feedback ! :)

Fun little game, having to click for every shot and manually reload with R wasn't ideal but it was still fun.
