The combat system felt kinda weird. I wanted to swing the sword to see what happens first, but found out I couldn't do that which left me confused that I was hitting the wrong key. The audio was decent. The graphics was a little blurry and oversaturated. The implementation of the theme was kinda weird. Also, the key for attacking was unfavorable in my case, cuz I'm using a 60% keyboard :p Overall there's a lot of room for improvement!
got it
I agreed with Spook and Champpeace, the combat mechanic is not very good, you can only swing the sword when the goblin is in range is weird, people usually would try to swing the weapon to get the feels first, but if they found out that attack button doesn't work they will get confuse.
You could change the music theme when enter the game and the afterlife scene to get more out of it.
Also, It would be great if you learn the rule tile, I don't know what it's called in Godot or if it's exist, but if it's exist please learn that, if it's not, try to make the map look better and not discontinued tiles.
I don't really get the combat mechanic, every time you engage in it you're forced to take damage, and you can't flee from the combat since the goblin stunlocks you. The movement speed is slow, it takes ages to get to a goblin.Secondly the attack button is mapped to a weird key, it took me a couple of minutes to find the right one, since it wasn't the numpad one. The game has a pretty funny story, but that's really all that it has, since the gameplay is basically nonexistent considering the fact you can't fight back whatsoever.
yeah, i messed up with combat system
Getting stunlocked by both your own weapon and the goblins sort of gave away the skill factor. The next life theme was quite prevalent, and the sound was pretty crunchy and satisfying. The graphics felt supersaturated and I also believe that you forgot to set the filter thing from Linear to Nearest because it felt slightly blurry, which isn't something pixel art does. Overall scores pretty well
yea ur right
