Great improvements! Art style looks great. See my video for more off-the-cuff remarks, but I had a good time playing this. Only negative was to grey out the "Your Party" 4 boxes when the fight starts. Newer players that don't get the "automatic" mechanic would try to change the party mid fight. Gray boxes communicate this.
Hey Bearguy, thanks for this! I like seeing videos of the game, it's more natural than typed text. I noticed that you missed a few mechanics in the game, or you chose to ignore them (like, you kept a dead mon in the party where it can't heal) so I might need to work on the clarity of some mechanics, or straight up introduce a tutorial.
Regarding the party box deactivation, there's already a little bit of feedback when you try to move them during battle - the cursor changes to a red X, you can even see it in the video. It's probably too small though, so I'll try making it bigger, but graying out the boxes will help with clarity too, so I'll probably do that.
Weirdly addictive, I like the art and sounds. Hearing high speed slapping makes me chuckle. I think the difficulty spike from the field battles to the boss ones is kinda nuts, like you don't know how strong you have to be until you actually fight them. Maybe that's a me problem? Anyways, it's super fun.
- First of all I like that you can rest to forfeit capture.
- The balancing seems weird this time around. I get to high levels without even bothering to read effects or majorly optimize matchups. But somehow the levels of enemies scale up really hard and even with owls and stuff, I then just kind of die independently of how well I organize my team. Just kind of feels weird to breeze through the game and then around 30 it suddenly starts feeling I just get outstatted. Maybe I'm doing something wrong?
I don't think you're playing it wrong, this isn't the first time that someone told me that it's really difficult. I might just tone it down and reupload.
Oh also I only now noticed: The party bonus is for different pokemon only! I kept having grass bonus 3 with 4 grass pokemon due do duplicates. It should say "3 unique Grass in party" or something like that.

Just a really minor comment from me this time:

i really didn't like how units carried damage between battles, i think the player having his own health total makes more sense
was fun until i just died because i went into a boss fight with all my creatures at low health
