I got filtered. Big time. Level 5 was my cuphead tutorial moment. Take my opinion with a grain of salt of course since I'm a shitter who doesn't even play this type of game.
I agree with the people saying that the squirrel doesn't fit. IMO a game like this feels weird with a non-humanoid protagonist.
The first jump of room 12 (right after the first slide) is obnoxiously tight. Granted, this is coming from someone who doesn't really like precision platformers anyway, but that one in particular got repetitive enough for me to just close the game. Maybe people who would like this genre would be okay with it? I dunno.
- I like the new tiles, consider changing base color from pink to something else for more variety and to identify different zones/worlds.
- squirrel is a cute skin
- Consider adding a dedicated button for long jump, see 1001 spikes
I wanna revise my comment form prev DD:
Your game can be coomer bait no problem. Since I suspect you are jap, you can you can work the asian market as well, and since a game like rabi-ribi had a lot of success, you can have it too. Nobody has a crystal ball, and if you want you main to be a loli in a bunny suit, fuck it.
The great filler. I consider myself a decent precision platformer player, I beat celeste and super meat boy and dabbled in IWBTG. I'd rank this room as comparable to the hardest celeste main game challenges. and it's on easy??
it's cute, extremely pretty, polished gameplay feel and sounds, but too hardcore for most precision platformers players IMO
the problem I have with the level is it demands very fast reaction times(that's on all levels pretty much) and the jump over the spikes top right is very precise and quick, you have to tap jump against the wall before even registering consciously you didn't die to the spikes.
A solution I can see is making the levels bigger so the challenge is balanced, traps trigger slower but the player has to overcome longer precision trials to beat it.
gotta say I can't endorse the change to a squirrel, but if there's some kind of reasoning you would have more insight than I do, so what's the point of saying something about it. Anyway I recorded some play
The squirrel's cute, but feels huge compared to the girl because of the big tail. I felt like I had a much harder time keeping track of my exact position than last DD.
Is the playboy bunny girl gone for good? I get why you'd want a less sexualized character design, but a man-sized squirrel feels out of place in the environments. I think you'd be better off keeping the character human, but more cute than sexy.
Like, a stereotypical school girl running late with a piece of toast in her mouth or something.
The new backgrounds are all cool looking, though a few of them make it a little hard to see what's happening; For instance on the last level's Egyptian theme, everything looked kinda like a spike trap block.
gee that's quite a game. the difficulty is a bit above my level, but the presentation - barring the lack of music - is immaculate. The art, the SFX, the diegetic room number and death count, character animations, all really good. I especially like the death -> respawn sequence. it's very quick but has a lot of stuff going on.
easy level 10, when I slide down out the bottom of the screen while holding right, I end up trapped in the wall at the top when I come back in.
the difficulty curve seems a bit all over the place. nightmare-hard levels followed by easy trivial ones followed by hard ones etc.
I like that it saves your place automatically. I had to quit and restart after the level 10 bug and it was nice to not be asked to beat the first bunch of levels again.

I had trouble installing this using the itch app.

Thank you, it should be fixed now

bring back the girl c'mon
Pretty hard game, I got stuck on the 6th level. Needs background music that is on a light volume to add something extra.
