I get that the art style is meant to be black & white (and I think it does work well for the items and characters), but the map itself still looks rather boring to traverse. Music doesn't really help either atm, sadly.

The minimap is also quite confusing, it feels like it's always one block away from where I really am.

Combat system might be a bit too complex for its own good but I like the idea of being able to charge your moves with hitting weaknesses giving you extra charges, it's megaten-ish without feeling like a carbon copy.

Really dig the feeling and look of this game. There are some typos I've found, worst ones mentioned already, and the combat seems pretty unforgiving too so I didn't get very far at the moment. I've choosen the ring of vengenace but after choosing my class (Rune Master) I wasn't able to equip it again, wondering if it's a bug or a restriction.
Map was also a bit confusing at first, as I thought the icon would be where I am instead of pointing it down, so at first I thought it was off by one row.

Thanks for playing. Yeah I really have to go back and fix some of the text. Seems like I forgot to allow the Rune Master to equip armor. I'll try to make the map a bit better too.

nice art, I feel odd about choosing items / demons without knowing what they do.

"shields are how many times you can get hit by your weakness before you have a negative effect"

The ESL is a bit too strong. the explanation afterwards kinda does the job. I know enemies can get a stun status but didn't understand when it happens.

fat guy that owns the shops says "kill some beast and use it on the gate"

you don't use the beast, you use a key maybe? "use the key it drops on the gate"?

it says "you have entered the shopping district" even if you leave it

if I press left, then press forward right away, I move to where I was facing(while the camera turns), not to the new forward direction. maybe some input-lock needs to happen while turning.

the music is kinda bad when it starts. I had to mute it.

I wanted to do a more unknown mysterious feel, and there was a bug with showing text with it.

The text was written when I was half asleep, I need to go back to fix it.

I'm trying to do with a more ominous sounding off kind of music to make it sound otherworldly and fully different than anything else for a unique feel. I think it fits with the idea, but I have to make sure it still works. What theme made you want to mute it (What area of the game)?

the combat, drums go boom boom boom boom, just drilling drums, really need to tone them down. I think the combat theme was OK after that, only the drums were actual pain to listen to.

Thanks for the feedback, I'll probably either remake it or replace it later.

If you play my game it should come as no surprise that I have a very soft spot for projects like this. I quite like what you are working on and I am going to play this one more later. However, you seriously need someone to look over and edit your text, there are so many glaring problems with it. The music is cool but some of the noises and mixing you have done actually create pain for the one listening.

This is some truly insane and confusing shit, but I am going to do my best to get through it later so I can give you some proper feedback on your mechanics. I think that this can become something special with a lot of work.

Thanks for playing. I have to go back and edit some stuff later on to refine it more, I wrote some of the text whole half asleep. But I'm looking forward to what you have to say.
