The resolution I wanted was not visible, so I tried to scroll down the list, but instead whole settings menu scrolled down, revealing only empty space.

The hammer tool, allows for breaking elements, but it only destroys the element type we currently have in hand AND element in hand needs to match rotation with the element we're trying to destroy. Mega confusing. Would be better if it worked like maul, just point and instant destroy without any criteria.

The building system is little wonky when it comes to precision of placing elements, but it has great features.
Undo and prefab system should be mandatory in every game that has building, but this is the first time I've seen a game have them.

It's nice that you can just grow plants without getting into soil composition autism.

Seeing town's people going somewhere feels really nice. I'm working in the field and when I see someone it feels natural to just walk up to them and greet them, even if they don't have much to say currently.

I don't really know what to say beside that. The game is too big to write every good thing and pointing out some minor problems feels dumb when major stuff is being developed. What I wrote is just things I felt strongest about.

Though I have one question:
Will the whole world be open from the start, or will it be divided into unlockable parts? It just seems weird to have so much open space and places to go to when you're just starting.

Overall good job to you guys.

We will look into the resolution menu bug, sorry for that

There was a technical limitation on free demolishing with the hammer I think, I have to check with my brother.

We will make the game fully open from the start, with rarer and more valuable stuff appearing more often the further away from the town you are, when we implement hunger and other dangers going on a trip will require proper preparation

This game was a lot of fun! Keep fleshing out the city and farmland. Will definitely play on release. Really liked the ost and swimming mechanics

All the insects count as critters, you can collect every single one, use them as bait for fishing or decoration

been a while since i last played.

my main feedback is this: GOOD JOB.

the visuals are a massive improvement. the town feeds more like a town instead of assets. things feel lived in. the character creator is fun. the capsule art is great (no outline too! i think that's still superior to the outline you had before).

the game complaints i had are minor.

when creating your character, a popup should tell me the namefield is empty instead of the red highlight. i got a big monitor, and i didn't notice it there at first.

the character i created is a manlet at the shortest possible height, so some animations (swinging scythe to cut grass) clips into the floor (i dont see the scythe blade).  perhaps scale scythe to player height?

shift running + jumping leaves a few frames of the run animation in the jump. it looks a tiny bit silly.

there's also some out-of-game autism  i must yell at you about.

your itch page description is POISON.
>Hello! We are developing a comfy farming sim, we know the market is a bit crowded right now, but we have two main differentials,
at this point any gamer turned it off. do NOT begin your description by citing the fucking market.

>our mechanics are a lot deeper than the expected for this kind of game, and our style is anime-like, but not chibi

this also does not do you any favors. i'm awful at marketing, but even i can tell this is turning off players instead of making them want to play.

Replace it with this:

Hello! Welcome to Edengrall, a comfy anime farming sim inspired by Story of Seasons (old Harvest Moon), Stardew Valley and Rune Factory.

bam. infinitely better. if you're talking about the market and what your game is not (*not chibi*), you are telling me you have no confidence that a player will want to play this. if you have no confidence, then why would i play this?

again, this isn't part of the game, but please change this. even if you think my version is ass, at least look at how other games do this and just copy them instead.

i can't state this hard enough. your progress is excellent and i am actually angry to see how a few simple sentences might be turning off players from seeing the now enjoyable visuals!

keep up the good work, whatever you're doing now is working wonders.

We want to review all animations eventually, add proper female animations and rework mess that the animation controller is, but we want to get as much content as we can before redoing anything.

It has been a while since I read the description I wrote, yeah I will change it

i just checked out your trailer too, very nice. the game state now is night and day compared to the previous versions. again, well done. if aggy had awards, you'd get the "most improved" one.

I didnt think i would enjoy this as much as i did. Very cozy game, some of the ui felt a little unintuitive and the animations could use some polish, but overall there was a lot of great quality of life going on and i had a surprising amount of fun just dicking around and exploring. Excited for my future cow wife

Filesize was quite large, and i ran into a few wierd issues trying to extract the game from the 7z, but didn't experience any issues during gameplay despite that

The filesize was 630 mb before, we managed to optimize it a bit.
