Wonderful art, it has soul, sadly I got stuck in the second combat encounter.

I feel like the UI and gameplay need some polish before I can see the vision properly presented, but the aesthetic got me

Linux.

Good hook at the beginning; gets me interested in your world. Combat starts and I can’t do very much of anything at all. There’s a weird white line thing in the middle of my screen. Zoom out and see, “oh, it’s surrounding the half of the screen that I’m hovering over – that wasn’t very obvious”. Click the left half of the screen to put my fighter there. Game says, “now click the start combat button to begin.” It doesn’t work. Neither does the “Next” button that appeared at the bottom center of the screen. Stuck forever. Quit game. Write this post.

I really wish I got to see more. Your art style is cool. The world seems fascinating.

The style is so awesome. Lunix build very kaputt unfortunately. Cannot do anything in second combat, clicking everywhere I can, nothing happens. Will try Windows later

OK, having the exact same issue on Windows. Either I am very dumb - or it is maybe my hardware at fault?

what the actual fuck did you just drop me into you beautiful fanart drawing madman??

We're reaching off screen levels previously thought impossible.

Ok I guess I'm going to call it here because I'm at some sort of offscreen stalemate with this guy??

Put me in the camp of "I have no idea what's going on."  I assumed that I should put characters in a lane and do something to attack and... move up off the screen?  I didn't know if there was a way to move lanes, the stats and status of the characters and enemies seemed arbitrary (because nothing dies), and yeah, I was just lost.  Needs an instruction manual or tutorial.  The screenshots make it look like it'll be interesting eventually though.

Really good start, I really would like this game to get more development! A tutorial would be helpful as well.

Looks good, but needs a tutorial

I like the background, and i'm usually a fan of turn based games, but...

This one needs a tutorial

I don't know what i'm doing

Tried it out for  twenty minutes.

Despite having read your posts in the thread, I had very little idea of what was going on.

I put both of my characters in a lane with no enemies to see what would happen. What happened is everyone just pushed forward forever - If there's a way to change lanes or shoot from one lane to another, I couldn't find it.

If I put two characters in the same lane, I don't know how you're supposed to give them orders, as they cover each others' buttons?

No idea what the center purple button does. Is it a buff of some sort? It's got the same icon as the reckless/retreat abilities.

I was able to figure out that certain abilities cost resources, but I cannot tell where resources come from, nor could I figure out where to find most of them.

Idunno, I feel like it needs some more time in the oven before I can say anything about it. I can't tell what's broken, what's unimplemented, or how it's supposed to work.

Okay, I tried out the new version. I thought it was just gonna be a single battle like the first version, but it seems like it leads into the whole story afterwards, which I don't have time to check out right now.

The tutorial makes things a lot clearer, but I think it bugged out after a bit and just let me handle things on my own after it made me use my first ability.

As an aside, that intro is goooood stuff. Despite the somewhat awkward phrasings, it actually gave me chills.

Gotta ask though, that thing about killing someone but not being their murderer - are you quoting E.Y.E or are you both referencing some third story?

For some reason, the game showed a piece of art only to quickly jump into gameplay but in a weird way.

You have this background image with 3 versions and move around it in a grey background.

There is gameplay, but I was expecting a tutorial and intro behind it.

I'm on Windows 10.

The art itself is nice, but there's something going on here.

Just started the game, immedieately im in a combat situation, is that intentional? I deliberately ignored your combat explanations earlier, to see if i can figure things out and i can proudly say: Wtf is going on? lol

The style of the combat has its charm, but im overwhelmed by numbers and icons i dont understand.
