Pretty shaders, cool radiation effect and overall it's a pretty picture to look at. The robot spouts schitzo ramblings, which is kinda cute. But that's it. It's a very rough prototype, and you get killed in seconds. I'm curious where you'll take it, but for now it's nothing to write home about.

  • The aesthetics and graphics are great. I can't emphasize this enough.
  • Upon starting the windows exe, it massively hanged my machine. I assume everything was being loaded all at once.
  • Not a fan of the UI/debug text.
  • It was not fun spawning in and then being killed by a homing robot that never ceased chasing me. It might fit the theme but it was annoying.
  • You can still use Q/E to lean while dead.
  • On the 2nd respawn, all of the lights went black. Not sure if intentional but it was unplayable.

Obviously this game needs a whole lot of work. The vibes are interesting though, I'll give it that much.

The linux version works, but you have to launch the executable, not the shell script.

Really frustrating game, you move like a sack of potatoes with arthritis, all of the meters are constantly going down, the enemies are a pain in the ass. The name “Hopeless” is very apt. I gave up after I died four times without finding anything.

I saw on stream later that the grab function works on the enemies, really need to make that more obvious as it’s the only way to not just get instakilled over and over.
