i couldnt found out where to go, i got kerosense and an elevator pin after pressing enter on everything i think, but its hard to tell when i can barely see and i turn really slowly and every door and room looks them same and has a long transition between them, mayb i didnt have enough STR to open doors iduno
and i like Software Automatic Mouth as much as the next guy but id rather have silence than him slowly reading everything
ummm games pretty good tho and its liek above average in interesting-ness and ZeroCombat RPG is a kewl name
Yeah, I've got a lot of complaints about SAM, so I'll limit it's usage later down the line.
The elevator needs power - there are hints if you inspect everything, but basically you need to cook diesel. That's probably not very engaging. I'll see what I can do to make it less autistic, but that's gonna be a bit hard lol.
I love the sound design, the music's awesome, reminds me of "organ trail"
I had an issue when trying to rebind keys though, it breaks when i assign "f" as the confirm button and i have to reset them to get out.
there's a little bug on the dry plant next to the water/oil, inspect and cancel are displayed twice
I like how the writing when you change room supports the atmosphere, also how some dialogues change based on context
Having buttons to rotate but the direction being "decorrellated" from it make the controls feel weird, like i would make it so W makes you walk in the direction the light's pointing at, and A-D would be strafing, but i get the game's emulating an older game feeling too
It's cool the skills are useful sometimes too, i deciphered the note next to the generator, which i couldn't have done if i didn't have i high perception skill i guess
finished it on the first try, the game looks pretty tightly put together, not many bugs or anything like that, very cool !
Thanks a lot for playing the game, Yes, the plant bug is known, I didn't get around to fixing it, sorry. I understand the issue with the controls, and I may play around with it some more. One obvious solution would be tank controls, but I'm personally not a fan.
The note next to generator doesn't actually spawn if you don't have high enough perception, yeah. There are not a lot of skill checks, and perception was especially hard since the mechanics for that are not yet ready.
I didn't get very far, but the concept on its face seems interesting. Personally I would try to include a more quick and concrete goal early on to get the player interested in continuing.

I agree, the pacing is not great. I'll definitely do something about it.
