Is it another Getting Over It? It sure feels like it. Sidejump doesn't work at all. I managed to latch to a wall pretty consistently but jumping at the top of a climb is still 50/50. Second part is when I die constantly as aftomentioned sidejump doesn't work. You should be able to move horizontally at ease, jumping out from the wall is counterintuitive and you can't latch to it again because you're either too close so your tools jump away or I turn left or right and that isn't helpful either. You should also add that extra animation for legs while climbing and let you climb up at the very top of the mountain as jumping is also unrealistic and I'm assuming you're going for the immersion.
Nice prototype! The timing of the first attempts to use the picks are a bit off and I failed maybe 7 times before I finally figured it out. You can get into a nice grove when climbing which feels good, however the swinging doesn't feel very physical. Choosing a direction to climb towards also seems difficult. Would like to see more!
got stuck for a while since i didnt realize i needed to hold lmb to start climbing? i cant latch onto the mountain consistently at all. did not make it far up the mountain. character should maybe move a bit faster, maybe add checkpoints? i didnt get to one at least.
keep at it, i like these kinda games but the game feel is a bit rough for me atm.

Pretty inscrutable. This game could be fun if the basics were taught better. Also buggy.
